    Since when has government fixed anything. Tell the children of today that they are already $50K in the red and that there is not financial hope in their future, because that is what the "stimulus plan" will do.

    My boys go to high school near Austin (not in AISD) and they aren't allowed to bring laptops to school. There is some softening in progress though because some classes are going to have to allow it.

    It is a hacker's TIVO. I have tried it and had nothing but difficulty in getting things the way I wanted it. I spent hours...not to mention that ATI drivers in linux just suck.

    I ended up with XP and SageTV. That product took a total of 20 minutes to install and configure (including my huge media library) and not hours to get nothing like mythtv.

    Since it has been proven that cutting taxes to the wealthy has increased tax revenue due to the wealthy stimulating the economy with more investments and creating more jobs, how does it benefit anyone to raise the taxes on the wealthy which reduces the tax revenue due to losses of jobs?
