If they truly plan to have downloadable content, 60GB will be essential. Plus WiFi is nice so you don't have to run an unsightly network cable to your TV.
I don't care about HDMI, but the larger HD and WiFi is more important than you think.
The non-castrated PS3 is $599. I imagine 4 controllers will be $100, plus a few games and you are getting awfully close to $1000. Throw in tax and bundling fees, and you're there.
Just because you have 64bit hardware doesn't mean you have to take advantage of it. That miniscule improvment in performance for the average user isn't worth it. I agree XP x64 should never have been released, but it's to make sure Vista x64 has high quality 64 bit support.
He was talking about buying the XBOX. Right now you can get a brand new one for $149. I think it debuted at $299 so I should have said save $150.:)
I guess if you're a tightwad or are poor I can see $150 making a small difference in your life.
Or you could go the MCE route and buy an Xbox to use as an extender for $99.

I agree they don't seem to fix the showstopper bugs. I've had a tab switching bug since day one of using firefox. When I switch tabs after opening a new tab, firefox hangs. Mozilla does not, which is why I'm using mozilla now.
The biggest is the tabbed browser extentions. Without it you don't get full featured tab functionality, plus you don't get the new tab button in a logical place.
I have a friend who has done just that. Occasionaly it works, but most of the time the people believe they have a right to talk because they paid money to be there. Complaining to the theatre management doesn't work either, they just ignore you.
I can't believe the nerve people have bringing children to movies. I can't recall a recent movie going experience that wasn't disturbed by horrible parents who bring their young children to movies.
You must be single. :)
Hey, lot's of people follow him so don't knock it till you've tried it. BTW, when CSS was being developed MS did have most of the market.
But when you have 90% market share, aren't you the standard?

Do you really think everyone who works at microsoft is unethical and suffer in a bureaucracy? You really shouldn't make genralizations.
Actually right now it's something like 0%. The congress is debating extending this too.
That's not saying much. :)
Alas, initial doesn't mean it works. :(

Or setup the VCR to record or buy a TiVo or find a new family. There are plenty of options that work.

You're that cheap that you'll wait years to save $100?
Boy is this true. Same for the 30 second skip button, that's right next to TV input .
That last statement you made is key. Support is a huge reason why an "appliance" makes more sense.

That is correct, it only plays GBA games.

Only if you saw them swap machines. That and all the extra noise generated to cool off the extra CPU.
It is "could not care less" not "could care less" since that implies you actually can care less. :)
You're pretty much describing the 9300.
You really should consider the pretty glossy finish for the LCD. It makes everything look better.
At least you bother to get a sitter. Most people take their young kids to the movie, much to the chagrin of those around them.
