  2. Used to work on large batteries... on Batteries To Store Wind Energy · · Score: 1

I was a electronics tech on a submarine and had to deal with our battery bank, 125 or so 2 volt batteries, each about 2 foot by 2 foot, and approx 5 feet tall. They required a lot of maintenance and we always had to worry about something happening causing them to explode (there is a lot of energy in batteries that big) just from that I would say this sounds like a bad idea`

I know it's like an open secret here, but why not just pirate the damn thing? I got started doing this in the 90's when it was hard, now even joe the plumber could do it. If you were really self righteous buy the game after you get the pirated one up and running. Not all downloads work, but at 90-95%, it's better odds then the DRM Crap. Side note, every once in a while to assuage my conscience I will buy a game (specifically if I liked the previous iterations) and even then I'm batting .500 at best. And I'm lazy, irresponsible, and disorganized so I loose those fucking cd's all the time. so I say fuck it.

I say this, as an admitted AMD fanboy, and in hopes that they can make a comeback, to once again force intel into a frenzy of research and development. I Can't help but imagine that AMD exec's are saying something along the lines of Isoroku Yamamota's famous WWII post pearl harbor quote, "I fear that all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant." It's all gravy for consumers so one can't help to be happy at the current developments. However to ensure future happiness for consumers, one must also hope for an AMD Comeback.
