People need to tell Microsoft with their wallets what kind of OS they want to have. If 25 million people decided not to buy anything al all, that would send a pretty message of "either do it right, or dont do it at all...."
I actually work for the government, they just dont listen to the think tanks that tell them, "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! Dont do that" and they just go ahead and do it anyways.

Have you thought that using this in combination of a mouse would give you more liberty during a presentation or general computer usage? I wouldnt use this alone without a mouse, but i think it works better than the kinect does and it will be integrated on laptops. That is big.
I live in Texas, and while tragic and all that, why is this news in slashdot? Why is it news for nerds? Was a computer security issue that caused the explosion? If I want world news i go to CNN or huffington Post, when I come to slashdot is to read news for nerds, stuff that matters.
I think Mobama should send them a couple of pissed off Marines there for a little R&R (tequila, women and fire), or just hire a merc wing from the US DOD and do a cleanup... Mexico shouldnt be that difficult to overtake... a couple of M1A1 HA Abrams Main Battle Tank should do the trick... Mexico Urban layout is like afghanistan ultra light...
You are a dumb ass. Hurricanes (along with Tornados) are the only atmospheric events that are categorized. Tropical Storms are not categorized. Further more according to NOAA Irene is still a Category 1 hurricane. Per NOAA www.noaa.gov:

How fast were those winds going? 20mph? thats nothing... when you get 75mph sustained winds (thats cat1) to 135mph sustained winds (cat4) then talk to me... That same attitude is what got so many people in Katrina killed.
I think we are the only country in the world that actually roots for a hurricane to come because it means there will be a chance to not go to work and still get paid LOL!

We use armed concrete... that is why we can take a Category 5 Hurricane (like Hugo) or Category 4 (like Georges or Katrina) and survive it without the DRAMA the US experienced with Katrina... When we get a hurricane like that, we receive it with Don Q Rum and in a Beach Chair...
Now If you had said that the island was a step up from a third world country, I couldn't agree with you more... If the goverment agencies did their job right one third of the island wouldn't have lost power and water for more than a day... The services down there are such a fucking joke compared to 20yrs ago when a Category 5 Hurricane would cause the same inconveniences that this Category 1 hurricane caused.
Don't let me get started on the "puppet" we got as a governor... he makes Obama look competent...
There is No Such Agency... but trust me its more than a "haven" for geeks, specially the Lab at the Rock... There are far more notorious "hackers" working for HS and NSA than you could imagine... then again, there is a reason most people don't know about them or it...;)
