    Getting a hearing and pretending to do something about it is one thing. Siding with the people and actually drafting policies without loopholes which benefit the people is another. Remove protectionist barriers in Canada to allow for better competition could be a good start.

    If an employer is suspecting an employee of writing a bad review, that employee would likely be gone long before the leak. This said there is for sure a chance, albeit in odd cases.

    Emails addresses were exposed, that is bad news for sure. However it does not look like you can actually accurately tie the email address with reviews.

    I doubt, 20K for a large organisation is nothing. The only thing they probably don't want is too much publicity but when you are a publicly funded institution you have to be transparent.

    Actually GM wants to sells to those who don't follow laws of the road. More accidents means more cars and replacement parts needed. I'm sure sales gained from accidents are far superior to losses from fewer drivers (deaths/suspended permits).

    Google latest prototype already comes without wheel or pedals. Sure there will be conditions where machine is unable to perform up to standard but for majority of cases I believe we are only a few years from something available on the market. Assuming the technology is as safe or safer than humans, perhaps public transportation will be first to get automated as routes tend to be very predictable.
