    Also it serves little in terms of providing a method for transportation.

    A society is not oppressed when you don't' have the freedom to watch movies or listen to music. It is when you can be held indefinitely without any trial.

    Living in Canada, I don't see any difference between US and Saudia in this regard.

    Depends on how you treat them. The more you read, the quicker they will rot. While you can simply copy the files from one harddrive to another without losing a single word, the same doesn't hold true for the paper.

    DirectX and a lot of mulimedia related stuff was actually usable on XP. I used to have a dual boot system with Win2k and 98 before XP. Also win2k was hellishly slow to boot. Xp made a significant improvement there.

    Totally agree with you.

    And usually its when the first ISO image hits the tubes. In most cases, its several days before the game is available to be bought. I guess it pays to be a pirate :P

    Well for starter, it has multiple debugging session support in a single window. Multiple toolset support. Multiple transport support. For instance look at a particular IDE for embedded debvices based on eclipse architecture. Nucleus Edge http://www.mentor.com/products/embedded_software/development_tools/ide/index.cfm (and btw I'm talking low level OS development, not high level java or C++ which essentially is simlar to desktop development)

    LOL all you want but Eclipse IS the only IDE of choice if you work on any embedded device. VS2008 doesn't even come close.

    That's Sony for you: All marketing, no brains. You are trolling, right?

    Sony makes some of the most unique and innovative gear. I don't even need to give any examples of how many things are solely invented by Sony. I don't like some of their business practices however, no one with a little bit of insight and in their rightful mind can agree to your statement.

    Its much easier to make a cheaper copy of an existing product. Its much harder to make a new product.

    I don't agree with their statement that Eee is bad for the industry but neither would I simply pass a brainless judgment like *omg they are evil because they want more money for what they make and look they make rootkit too*
