    what I'm curious about, and I really don't know the answer. If this strain was something my grandfather (for example) had and lived through, wouldnt it make it likely that people that are alive today would be of the strain of people that can survive the virus?

    Even worse, the Dr's don't just prescribe meds because they get leaflets, they do because they get a cut of the price of the prescription. I think a Dr. should be able to prescribe whatever they think is right to help you most, but when they get a cut of the medecine's price, it alters the equation. They start to prescribe stuff to pad their pockets, not to help my, or your, health. Androk

    The U.S. is 99% fucking idiots who sit on the couch, watch Survivor, and basically do everything except anything requiring thought or effort, and the 1% people with brains, willpower, and the ability to think for themselves, who employ the other 99%. The sad part is, most of the 99% are perfectly content to be peons and live in subdivisions and suburbs with 1000 other people who have the same house, floor plan, and lot. Pathetic.

    I think it's fascinating that 15 years ago, with a much smaller server market that 6 or 8 architectures were commercially viable. Now we have a MUCH larger server market and only 3 or 4 architectures are viable. How does that work? Androk

    15% sounds just about right. The norm for most human bahaviour fits into a bell shaped curve. with 15% on either end as extremes. So on the one end 15% cheat, and on the other probably 15% are overly rigid.

Nothing short of the devastation to the 5th planet will be acceptable, after all some could survive the asteroid collision. His quote "enviromental worries about a new asteroid belt blocking 5 to 10% of the sun are vastly over blown". More news as it comes...

    the delta clipper http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/pao/History/x-33/dc- xa.htm would have been a great replacement for the shuttle. It took a ground crew of 6 and demonstrated quick turn-aroud launches (on the 1/3 scale prototype). McDonnall Douglas made many successful test launches, Nasa crashed it the first time, and the project was cancelled. Androk
