It was explained that originally they were thinking about Warhammer 40K but the studio already had an online space game in semi-development so they went the Warhammer Fantasy route. The online space game was axed and at that time the development of Warhammer Fantasy was too far ahead to just pull the plug.
I reported him (Racia - Undead Rogue (surprise, surprise) in Icecrown) and got the "We'll look into it" response. We'll see what happens in the future.
I'm playing on a Care Bear server so no world PvP for me but I tried to make his life hell by Banishing/Fearing/Tapping everything he got near.
You might think that buying gold doesn't hurt anyone, but for those who are honestly trying to farm for their mats it's a pain as it raises the time involved in trying to get your mats for things as you're competing with a toon that never logs off.
I'm farming for the materials for my Robe of the Void and guess what, there's a Gold Farmer running the same path over and over in Azshara looking for Satyrs so that he can sell off the Felcloth.
24 hours later and this Farmer has went from level 52 to 55.
It's been a topic on the FCC's plate for some time but whenever it gets mentioned the cable/sat companies' lobby squashes it. This is a report that the FCC finally created that shows the cable/sat companies are wrong in their beliefs that it's not economically feasible and not in the best interest of the consumer.
The FCC had at some point thought to mandate the change to the cable/sat companies but that was crushed.
I wonder in the future if they will start to restrict any episode of a show that was released on DVD. It will be a move to make more money off of these shows by forcing a person to actually spend the money on the DVD instead of saving it on your Tivo or moving it onto your computer.
By RTFA you can see that there are two separate groups in SAG that are going at it therefore the deal fell through. The Restore Respect is the group that has the president of SAG (Melissa Gilbert) as its head. MembershipFirst! is the group that doesn't want the president of SAG in power. So they split over everything as MembershipFirst! wants to toss Melissa Gilbert out of power. By ruining the deal MembershipFirst! can point at Restore Respect as not getting things done for the rank and file.
You knew this was coming. The ending of the Beta had Morpheus dying with a cinematic to boot. They wouldn't have gone through all that hassle of creating a cinematic with voice over and not use it.
Personally I think they are pushing the story forward too quickly as the game hasn't been out all that long and now when people buy the game, they find out that Morpheus is dead.

Not unless Microsoft declares that 360 will be backwards compatible. Currently they're doing the lame "no comment" thing which is making a lot of people nervous. If they say that it won't be compatible and the PS3 is then Microsoft is alienating a huge portion of their market.
I love it how the MPAA can draft legislation for the Congress now. I thought that we elected people to actually draft legislation but I guess I was wrong. Now all you need to draft legislation is a billion dollars and the knowledge of where to deposit some of the money.
I was pulled back by what people were saying about the Mirror Universe episodes so I watched those but after Enterprise started heading off into an unknown part of space I turned it off.
Did they actually have old Voyager scripts on the shelf that they had paid for before and wanted to use?
Anyways, I'll watch the last episode just to see how it ends as most people will but too bad they ruined a series with some promise.

Just use the Bill Clinton defense: It depends on your definition of the word "is".
I did a search on U2 and it seems it has some of the older, some of the newer, and missing some as well. It's random what they have or don't have.

It's cheating, a shortcut, and annoying.

He was impeached for lying under oath about whether or not he had sex with Monica.

It is Marvel vs. NCSOFT.
And it's still ongoing.
Will there still be a market for PC games
Yes.
or are the graphics of the next generation of consoles going to make PC games unnecessary?
No.

I gave up on it.
