I always wanted to go, but my hubby always said 'no' because he would not step foot in Vegas. If it moves elsewhere, well, we could possibly go.
However, I think a lot of the fun to people is that it is in Vegas, where all the glitz is.
Although the above post is completely on-topic with the parent, I am glad there are still childish linux users who think that they must mod anyone who uses Microsoft products down.
I tried Ubuntu 7.10 recently; I gave up when there weren't drivers for my all-in-one printer, and my husband couldn't use the scanner function. I spent 5 hours trying to get that to work, and I gave up. Most users aren't going to have the patience to do anything but put a driver CD in and double-click setup.exe.
Back to XP for me.
So it's ok for police to carry camera phones to take pictures of crime scenes, but if a bystander does the same thing it is a punishable offense (beat up by police, arrested and charged with felony, etc.)?
IT people in India speak at least two languages.
Yes, and neither language seems to be English, which is really bad if they are a helpdesk for American consumers.
Federal law enforcement officials Tuesday arrested the well-known CEO of White Plains, N.Y.-based MSP provider Compulinx on charges of stealing the identities of his employees in order to secure fraudulent loans, lines of credit and credit cards, according to an eight-count indictment unsealed by the U.S. Attorney's office in White Plains.
If I can type "linux" into Microsoft Word and it capitalizes it for me, or any other MS competitor, it means I'm impressed with Microsoft Word. I don't own Word... does it do that?
Yes, it does indeed.
Yes, but I don't have to pay for that with my tax dollars. I do support local charities, but I'm not going to support someone purposefully getting into prison to receive free medical care or food.
Actually, some people seem to do things just to get into prison (to get medical care, a roof over their heads, etc.), and they get cable TV and three meals a day, so I don't know about how their lives are a living hell.
Clifford Pickover writes on many topics of mathematics.

That article mentioned 'April 31st'. There is no 'April 31st'. I call BS.
Which state is this? I want to know so I can avoid it if possible.
Can't this person proofread?

When my hubby told me, I said, "It's like reality impersonates fiction.'
You equally dislike McCain and Obama? They are both white, women, US citizens, and over 40; that's about all they share.
Please proofread before you post. Thank you.
...glad I caught that.

How is picking a quarter up off the casino floor any different than picking a quarter up on the sidewalk? Is anyone going to claim that it's theirs?
... that it is open 7 days a week?

I hope you're being sarcastic because I can't find the video on YouTube.
It is curious, since I usually read 'the FBI' and 'the CIA', and they are both acronyms.
Isn't Clark and Clinton where the Target is? (They were going to put a IKEA there, but I guess that fell through...)
Just think 'Minority Report'.
You are an idiot.
