    I always wanted to go, but my hubby always said 'no' because he would not step foot in Vegas. If it moves elsewhere, well, we could possibly go.
    However, I think a lot of the fun to people is that it is in Vegas, where all the glitz is.

    I tried Ubuntu 7.10 recently; I gave up when there weren't drivers for my all-in-one printer, and my husband couldn't use the scanner function. I spent 5 hours trying to get that to work, and I gave up. Most users aren't going to have the patience to do anything but put a driver CD in and double-click setup.exe. Back to XP for me.

    So it's ok for police to carry camera phones to take pictures of crime scenes, but if a bystander does the same thing it is a punishable offense (beat up by police, arrested and charged with felony, etc.)?

    Yes, but I don't have to pay for that with my tax dollars.
    I do support local charities, but I'm not going to support someone purposefully getting into prison to receive free medical care or food.

    Actually, some people seem to do things just to get into prison (to get medical care, a roof over their heads, etc.), and they get cable TV and three meals a day, so I don't know about how their lives are a living hell.
