    ... or see other players go broke because you OWN boardwalk :P And sit back and watch your stack of bills grow. Monopoly isn't the same with credit cards. Or debit cards. Or whatever cards. The fun part is to see others go broke by having no money. With the card, they might have no money, but they still have something: the card. In any case IMO.

    What you say is true, but in the same line of thought, we shouldn't make a lot of other tools because of the same reason. Just think about nuclear power. With all of the very good uses we can give it, stupid people go and blast a lot of innocents using it. I completely agree that people are stupid. But not all. I still have some faith in mankind. Otherwise it would be very, very sad.

    50-50 agreeing or not on your comment. Since it is true that it can take your eyes off the road, smart people who wants to check the maps stop at the side of the road and checks it safely. Don't blame the tool, blame the user.

    Is a common belief that women see colors better than men. The belief justify it by saying women were the ones that had to collect fruits and roots back in the cave days, so they developed a sharp color identification. For males, well, they did the hunting. It didn't matter much if the prey hunted was one color or another :P

    I thought the same thing the parent did. After it, I looked at the article with other eyes. The only reason I can think about why snakes got venom, is because their preys were getting bigger and tougher to kill by just strangling (except boas, of course)

    And also the innherent mortality of humans makes them special in a lot of literature. I remember The Silmarillion. I think if we were inmortal, we wouldn't care about a lot of things we do now, and because of that, we wouldn't have advances in many science branches.

    I always thought that 3D vision was an evolution for predators to be able to calculate distance from their prey to their current position. And pray has eyes on the sides because it allows them to have a bigger span of vision to catch those predators when coming.

    Now, for the color, I thought it was a trait for some fruit-picker beings, to be able to recognize good fruits from bad ones.

    I never imagined it was for the snakes :P

    I completely agree with the parent. And the fact that you actually had to willingly unlock the sex scene, makes the rates even more absurd (comparing tv and games)

    Because of my thesis work, I've been using scholar.google.com lately a lot, for researching purposes. So far I've found everthing I've needed. Is a great tool.

    I do agree that there should be some innovation thought.

    Microsoft makes money by selling software, which might actually be of use for people.

    Google could be all the things you said, but at least it gets the job done. Their search engine works. Their tools work. And I definitely can choose to use Google or not. Not many people can say the same about Microsoft products.

    The name's Hugo Chavez. And I don't like him either. One thing is to have balls to say what's wrong, and another completely different is to be blunt, rude and to look down on other people.

    And all the posts that I've read so far are making me scared to go live there. My fiancee is texan, and next year we're getting married and I'm going to live there. My country might not be the best of the world, but at least our politics still work, and we still have privacy in our personal lives. And we don't pick on fights with other countries, even if Bolivia wants our sea or Argentina refuses to sell gas to us =/

    I wish more sites where like that. Do you want info? You get it right there, without all the mumbo-jumbo associated with most current websites.

    Wow, if something like that would ever happen, we should have to welcome the era of raging clones. Want a clone of yourself? Upload your DNA data (that would probably take a lot of time) and send it to the 3D printer. It becomes sentient (and alive because of that) by some weird method, and bam! instant clone.

    That sounds more plausible to me than a huge meteor on the Sahara desert. I believe in science, oh yes I do, but making up a meteorite over a yellow glass sounds too sci-fi for me.
