    Well, from what I've read, the people at the actual companies involved can be totally shocked to learn that they're getting advertised this way, as it happened due to outsourcing of outsourcing of outsourcing of out advertising, when you get that far away, you eventually end up with somebody who doesn't quite care about the companies involved, just that they get their money as easy as possible

    Perhaps if you print out the 'receipt' and have IT be what's counted, but whatever printout that the person confirms need to be what is counted, if you have an extra copy that they can leave the poll with, that allows vote buying, and that's just changing your can of worms.

    Well, for all countries that have signed into the Berne Convention, copyright is automatic at creation.

    This was brought up last NASA story. Somebody pointed out that just ONE of the technologies produced for the Hubble telescope lead to more money saved on machines scanning for breast cancer than it cost for the Hubble in its entirety, and that's just the price tag, not the lives that have been saved because of that alone.

    I'm sorry, but I doubt most Guitar Hero players could, can, or will be able to explain the biochemistry of why practice helps you improve your skills. Furthermore, it doesn't quite matter if their search was due to common sense, uncommon sense, or total senselessness, as long as the method they obtained the data is scientifically sound, this is quite an interesting discovery.
