    Why would I ever want to share my location?

    Seriously? Imagine you could search Google for something like "sushi restaurant near me", let Google access your location information (once or every time), and get a list of nearby restaurants.

    I don't think he goes out much so he won't see the benefit of that...

    ...to print documents off my main computer, then a scanner to get those documents onto my second computer.

    I then repeat the process in the other direction to create a seamless 'bidirectional' sync solution.

    For video, I simply record the footage off the monitor using a camcorder, which I carry with me. My video, on the move.

    It's the piss poor earphones that have always let the side down. Swap them out for something better, and the sound shines through.

    I suppose you mean that it's easier for Apple to make big changes such as dumping support for an old OS as it affects less people.

    I'm not so sure. I think Apple took just as big a risk - if they hadn't managed the change from OS 9 to OS X carefully, they could have lost a huge number of their users to another provider, say.. Microsoft.

    Those are careless and dangerous choices of raw materials for which to construct skyscrapers.
