We have newspapers to report on people doing things that are considered "wrong" or "not acceptable". Being filthy rich doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want.
Is this a joke? How is flying in a jet that you own "wrong" or "not acceptable"?
Mental diseases aside, there are some people who play word games in their head. I was one of them. It was actually pretty complex, and I would do it all the time barely even thinking about it, and I was just a kid. I would manipulate words in my head and apply the "rules" of the game. But, I could have easily taken that "game" and then used it to encode my writing. Maybe he did something similar since he started at such a young age.
Agreed. That was actually my Project 10^100 submission. Create a company that builds satellite offices where people actually live, like in the suburbs and provide office space, network connectivity, etc... that you would normally find in an office environment. There's much more to it than that, but you get the gist of it.
That's true. From a dollar-to-dollar comparison the subsidized plans are a little better. However, you are locked into a contract. This way the wireless provider is sure to keep you. However, some people just hate contracts and like the freedom of being able to cancel at any time.
That's true. You can actually even get cheaper monthly plans and no contract if they don't subsidize your phone. There's quite a few iPhones on TMO's network.
I wonder how this would affect a plane landing if somebody set one off while flying on a plane right before touch down. Anybody know? Would the plane automatically abort? Would the pilot have enough time to manually take over? Would it crash?
At the point that our Congressmen started being run by lobbyists. This is a perfect example. My question is "when was Dodd promised this position in exchange for favors?" He's probably been in the back pocket of the MPAA for awhile now, is my guess. I think a lot of Congressmen are, too. Lobbyists and corrupt Congressmen are just the West's version of a totalitarian regime. How long will it take for the US people to take note of Tunisia and Egypt?
Agreed. Also, is he getting unemployment? If so, then it's pretty unethical to turn down a job while you're still getting money funded by working people.
Really? Is making a phone call really that important that you have to plan a major heist to steal some SIM cards so you can call somebody? If you feel you have to call somebody that badly to organize and commit a major crime, then maybe you have a problem. I think it's about time to call Phone Addicts Anonymous.
That's a good point. Do they have to obey laws? If they enter American waters, do they need travel documents? If they're a "person" and have the same rights as a "person," then they also have the same responsibilities, too.
I agree. 65 feet is nothing. Only 21+ yards, and being out at sea, you can have a pretty big boat rolling in the waves right next to some journalist's 15' POS. That could get dangerous. Also remember this is coming on the heels of the hurricane that just blew through the Gulf where the seas were pretty rough. My guess is that they had quite a few close calls this last week with the bad weather.
No, I see it more like the store is giving away free food, but they say limit one per customer. However, you keep going to the end of the line to get more, but they keep on giving you more anyways. While that's not necessarily the right thing to do, it's not illegal.
SOLD!! You got the contract! I don't know what you said, but our business needs it.

And how would this happen for renewing my plates online? Sounds like another step backwards.

Hey! Watch the language! This is a family site. Sheesh.
Or it could tell him how to decode the letters right before the "SE". So, maybe SE is one encoding scheme, and NE and BE are others?

Spell check wouldn't have caught that, since 'racially' is a real word.
Glory Satellite Lost... Now, it's just a Glory Hole.

They could just use a potato cannon. You can even make one out of duct tape! (As seen on Mythbusters.)
I totally agree. These guys are coming to rob you, beat you up, kidnap, and possibly kill you. Force needs to be met with force. Not a light.

And then a not-so-wise man once said, "Fool me once, shame on - shame on me. Fool me - you can't get fooled again."
What I want to know is where do you connect the black cable on the anti-battery when your car needs a jump?
Yes! It's about time somebody formed their own chip alliance and stood up to Frito-Lay!
But how do you think he does it?
To suggest otherwise is just a straw man argument.
But it's a GM-straw man, so it's OK.
