...that they just want people not to tamper with their code? I see no need for a patent. I recall a time when a patent was for something important: a novel idea or mechanism of some kind. Making a patent doesn't really do much, other than making it impossible for other people/companies to hack into osX 86. But then again, it was illegal anyway, so no one could (legally) hack osX x86 before this patent. Seems kind of redundant.
DJ Rat is recording his new mixed tape, which should be released early next Spring. The FCC; however, is not so thrilled, because the mixed tape "is one of the dirtiest fowlest things I have ever heard" said an FCC spokesman. "But it wasn't a suprise I guess, you know- he is a rat after all".
This is doomed to fail, and here's why.
1) an incredible $2.50 a song
2) Whoever would seriouly listen to music on a phone is nuts
3) Considering the price it shuld be a music video AND a high quality version for computer/mp3 player
Ok, so it might not fail, but to put it into perspective the ITMS breaks even for apple, even with its huge success.
1) It wasn't my computer, and yeah a few weeks is about 5-6
2) System restore is easy (i didn't say it didn't take a long time
3) I think you missed my point, i was discussing this root kit virus from my viewpoint
4) I hope you're being sarcastic actually
This is actually pretty old news, one of my friends got this a few weeks ago (he's not a geek, and he called me because I build this custom pc for him). It's quite easy to fix though, a good Ol' system restore fixes it, and there are many programs that can search for, and delete rootkit and other trojans (i'm talking about other programs besides antivirus programs, which sometimes have a hard time deleting these buggers). The trojan was called directX.exe, found in windows/system32 folder. My suggestion: don't click on a link from a friend before 1) you know what it is 2) and make sure that it doesn't say that your downloading a video file, when it's obviously a batch or exe file. This virus is not really a big deal, you just have to have half a brain to deal with it.
Do I get the "four maintainance workers" with the city? Is slavery illegal underground? Oh, and I welcome our new underground mole-people overlords (couldn't help myself)
in Highschool I took both visual basic and Java courses. I have hated VB and Visual Studio ever since. Its the worst way to introduce a relative n00b to programming. Because it really isnt. It only allows us to use lower level thinking. Everyone's programs in the class were very simliar in nature (we were allowed to create a small little video game of our own design). The only interesting thing was that I made a little rts game, and everyone used some shiity code from a shitty book to move images. Resulting in a quite unnatural looking white flashing graphics. Everyone else pretty much made some text based game or pong, boy did it stiffle creativity. Although, in my java class I made a Stephan Hawking Pac man, and everyone else pretty much did a card game or pong. So maybe Im just blaming VB and VS on some really uninteresting geeks at my school.
... I wish I had the time and energy to learn all this, but I'd rather ask my linux geek (Obviously I am a geek too) friends to help me. How do I install the Mplayer plugin to firefox? (doing that crap always irritated me), istead of watching some good pr0n I had to unpack binaries, my balls and brain loathe you Linux (Not trying to be a troll, just kiddin')
I could just imagine this scene.
Brainnnnssss......Brainnnnsss.... Oh my god run for your lives! ZOMBIES.... Wait, what are they doing now? I think they are reading their e-mails, whooo... thank god we are safe for now.
even used google print? You can barely see any of the book, just the "about" page in the beginning. This service is used to DISCOVER books. If millions of people can search and find the book they have been looking for, and they happen to buy it off of amazon let's say, why in hell would they sue Google.
THIS WILL ONLY HELP PUBLISHING COMPANIES SELL MORE BOOKS.
Even though it was only a month early, who is to say this "minor.... ahem" computer glitch couldn't let people go years earlier than planned. Also, shouldn't jails use both computer and physical data to make absolutely sure they are doing things properly? I know someone is going to comment to this saying that I'm wrong and that it would take too much space for all those filing cabinets, but I say that this is a perfect example of how I'm right. If they had another medium to check their data, this minor computer glitch could have been found and fixed, with no mess-ups.
that it was used in warfare. Would a enemy ship hang around not moving all day? I don't think so. And the mirrors way-back-when weren't as good as the ones used in this experiment, and the boat they burned wasnt wet from sea water. Think about that for a second.

They'll probably be back, but you'll have to pay for the service.
I mean seriously, It really would be. I say this in a good way.
I'm sorry, that was corny
=P
One the one hand it's useful, but on the other it contradicts our constitutuion. Man I love polidicks[sic].
pretty interesting idea though, looks like the battle of the browsers rages on.
And if you have "red splotches" on your crotch, that means a totally different thing.
FYI
Companies are now competiting for the CEOs and COOs with the craziest names. I mean "Safra Catz", what are you kidding me?

As I said, if you store this info on two mediums, the possibility of screwing up is very small.

I'll go, if you promise not to bite my head off.
