When a game (JUST THE GAME) costs $200, you can bet that people will pirate them. Nevermind the hardware. If there is demand for something, there will always be a % that will pay for it, a % that will not and a % that will steal it. Price point is all about making sure those %'s are reasonable.

$50 a game is expensive, but reasonable. No?

no, some posters are just stupid.

    lets use your window analogy:

The defendant, using a security vulnerability known as a Window, was able to break inside INSERTCOMPANYNAMEHERE and read and copy confidential documents sitting on a desk. He then gave a copy of the papers to a friend to show him how utterly 1331 he was and then told the company about the problem with breaking through a Window. However, for noticing the stupidity of BRIAN WEST, the prosecution is serving legal papers up within a court hearing for misdemeanor charges of breaking inside a building through a window without authorization.

Not only that, but he afterward went around an told everyone a different story than what he had actually done. I say this guy is an immature loser that deserves what he gets.

The responsible thing to do would be to anonymously mail the admin and tell him/her that such and such exploit is open and that he/she should fix it.

What I think that everyone here is missing is the obvious application of this on extra-planetary colonies. Yes, I know that we don't have any now and that we aren't likely to have any in the next hundred years. There are two reasons that this is very exciting: there aren't likely to be very many nutrients in the soil of, say, mars and diseases will mutate faster because of the increased radiation on other planets without an atmosphere. Also, as was recently hypothesized, there may be microbes in places other than earth and they are likely to not be very healthy for the plants and vegetables that we are going to eat..
