    200 pairs of bare hands are proven to work just fine against that obsolete attack, Skaredcrow77. Also, modern locked cockpit doors aren't made out of cardboard; box-cutters are of little use.

    Please provide supporting evidence. The only "evidence" I know of was told to us second-hand and the entire plane full of people died anyway.

    I overestimated the number of passengers; there were 33 on board who were not crew or hijackers.

    Note that in 2001-09, American cockpit doors were not reinforced or securely locked.

    New York City does not have a high crime rate, unless you include unreported crimes/constitutional violations perpetrated by "law-enforcement" and federal agencies.

    Anybody taking Vicodin ES should consider Norco; maximums available are 7.5/750 and 10/325, respectively. I don't know the acetaminophen dose for Norco 7.5 off the top of my head, but it's sure as hell lower than Vicodin's. Bonus: You can actually break Norco on the score line without a chisel.

    Adding sulfur and barium nitrate lowers ignition temperature and produces a more vigorous reaction. The gas produced by the burning sulfur will also cause the molten metal to spray a considerable distance. Also, using copper oxide is preferable to iron oxide in an antipersonnel application due to its lower melting and boiling points, increasing burn speed and causing earlier ejection of metal droplets.

    In any event, I find this discussion disheartening; I don't believe violence is an acceptable solution to poverty and income disparity, even if that violence is deployed by the ignorant action of a would-be criminal.

    Intel didn't pay her, causing her to be able to afford housing. She won the "Associated Press human-interest newswire lottery," causing a disproportionate amount of donations (a manifestation of compassion to be sent her way. Suppose it hadn't been a slow news day... What of the Samantha Garveys that aren't placed right in front of your face? I suppose for you, it's not your problem... Those slow-news-day Samanthas and their families (of which I assure you, there are many...) are probably just lazy, so fuck 'em, right?

    Yes, it really is amazing the way some people claim that one person hitting a millions to one shot means that everyone else should be able to do the same. I guess they're fairly bad at statistics.

    Many that follow that rhetoric are probably rather justifying their greed or lack of empathy, rather than developing a new disregard for their less-fortunate humans.

    That we can afford the TSA and supply welfare to provocative/oppressive regimes, but HUD can't get these guys and rest of them into apartments is depressing and embarrassing.
