After a bit of searching, I found an alternative to Apple's power adapters. This one sells for $50 (much cheaper than Apple's). I'm sure there are other companies doing the same thing as NewerTechnologies. Of course, as I mentioned in a previous comment, you could built your own using this Apple tech note.
Whenever the CPU is idle, an audible tone is emitted from beneath the left side of the of the keyboard. This tone has a frequency of approximately 6 KHz. Any use of the trackpad or keyboard (i.e. sending interrupts) causes this tone to become intermittent, but still present. As soon as user input ceases, the tone returns to a stable state. Other thing which affect the tone are my Energy Savings setting and whether I'm using any Firewire devices.
By Windows only, I mean that only MS Windows compatible entries will be accepted. In other words, if you're part of the crowd that can't morally justify running (let alone developing for) Windows, then you can't participate in the contest.
Rule #10: The entry must be able to run on Microsoft Windows to qualify. In other words, standard Windows executables, Flash, browser-based games, etc. all qualify as long as we can use the entry on our judging machines.
I don't see how any of this is controversial. Now if Nintendo decided to name their product something offensive or, THEN the dubbing would be controversial.
"Currently it builds under Linux with gcc2.95 and under Windows with VC++6". In other words, it won't compile under Mac OS X... yet ;)

Let's hope he doesn't start a real-life version of GTA!
explosive batteries are a feature.
C++, unlike Objective-C, is not a true superset of C.

Apple provides full detail on how to build your own power adapter in this tech note. Guess what I'll be building over the next couple of weeks ;)

I envision Micro$oft releasing an army of robots on the world; robots which will go around smashing pple's iPods.
...DO NOT need internet access IMO. I see can see intranet access, but full on Internet?
A piece needn't make a statement to be considered art.
