    The problem I can see here is what do you define as being personal data. There are tons of social media sites with Russians posting content and they need to hand over some personal details to create an account.

    still hasn't got font scaling to work in Windows 8.*. Microsoft worries so much about the so called big picture that they cant fix simple things like making the fonts in their default apps auto size correctly. A great example is the weather app, in the hourly forecast section the text header reads as "Hourly Forec" were I should see "Hourly Forecast". It is little things like this that are making Microsoft look like fools when Apple do see these so called visual errors as being a serious fuck up. Guys fix all the little things before worrying about the big picture because there will be no money to finance the big picture at the rate you are going.

    what is curious for me is at what point will insurance companies insist on automated assist drive systems in cars especially considering 95% of crashes are due to human error. In 100 years it may be impossible to get insurance if you drive at all on public roads.

    There's just one exception: with the graphics processing unit, only the binary files required to drive the GPU are available, as the source code remains closed. Anders said that's a sticking point for some purists

    After having to deal with the nightmare that was the GMA500 blobs with intels on and off again linux support you can shove your new binaries were the CRT's don't shine.

    Very simply food manufacturers removed the fat in the 70's and replaced it with huge amounts of sugar. The problem with sugar is the brain doesn't see it as nutrition thus it doesn't suppress your appetite when you eat sugar filled foods.

    I have a ton of gadgets I carry around and the best solution, well for me anyway is a backpack. You can get some really well designed backpacks now for holding your gadgets and some even have front storage compartments for mobiles etc.

    Shame it has a Qualcom chipset because now for me as a hardware hacker it is off my list of toys to buy. The only thing of interest for me lately the the Ubuntu edge mobile, hopefully they avoid the qualcom mess.

    That was what iIwas thinking, this would only effect people downloading apk files from third party sites or android users downloading files that they think are free version of a $$$ app. If you stick to the Google play app store then you should be fine for now.

    I'm surprised no one is making an arm cluster solution based on cheap $30 modules. The modules only need a single fast IO interface that can fit into a backpane. This would allow computer hobbyists to build a cluster over time, they can start with a few modules and work their way up as they get more money.

    the old model is dual core, also you can get these phones with local importer warranty if you don't mind paying an extra $50. Also this comes pre-rooted and there are alternate roms for it now. The good news is you can buy the phone "now" for around $200 and it comes with two batteries and a cover.
