One can read a novel/ reference or any subject book again and again, are also helpful for reference purposes (basically knowledge gain). Movies on the other hand are more of instant gratification, a point of view of the Director of the movie (movie could be based on a book though), how many times would one see/ refer to the same movie, where as books are always useful (specially text books)
Indians are obviously a better choice as they can be exploited (as the Indian Programmers have to work on H1B VISA), there would be no fixed working hours, low pay and some kind of patriotism expected out of the Indian employee. Even in India these computer software firms exploit the Indian programmers by making them work for way more hours than they should, I mean working on Saturdays, almost 10 hours a day (on an average including Saturdays) and this is very common. This is why outsourcing is being done, not because the code is written in a better fashion but the Indian employee is more gullible (would bend over backwards) rather than an American grad, these outsourcing companies are having what I would like to call "Sweat shops". Everyone can be exploited in the name of Patriotism, and this what the Indian employer (HCL CEO) is saying, India/Indians provide him with cheap labor, him being Indian knows how to deal with them (nobody in the US is going to take that).
Never believe the lies these guys propagate, summing up the situation in India. Low pay, irregular working hours (always on the call), can get fired anytime (forcing the employee to work extra hours without getting compensated for). The thing about sexual preference, do you really think that the Indian employer would hire a gay/lesbian that's never happening in India at least, you might get fired for being straight and promiscuous.

Apple doesn't care about gamers, never has never will. iPhone could be a decent gaming platform but so could the G5s (look at XBOX 360 and PS3) but Apple chose otherwise. Apple buying EA is going to destroy gaming on Windows platform and there would be nothing else Apple could gain acquiring EA games.
The price is too good to be true, and this stuff is most likely a propaganda. Even with the Nano there has been overbooking and rationing of the car. Remember that the average income in India is not even comparable to average income of any country in the western hemisphere. The city where I live in a 3 bedroom apartment costs around 3.5 million rupees and a two bedroom apartment costs 2.5 to 2.8 million rupees. Thats a lot of money, the average middle class in India finds buying (owning) a house to be the biggest accomplishment in their lives, this is also one of the prime reasons that children stay with their parents and do not move out. I am in a decent job and for me to buy a house (2 bedroom apartment) I would have to take a loan that I would be paying for atleast 15 years. That pretty much sums it up, let the patriots rise and defend their country as being born is a particular country is a great accomplishment by itself.

But if Micro$oft was really interested in making big buck they would have made an office suite for Linux too, but they haven't. Instead of trying to conquer the OS market Micro$oft should make sure that their office suite is the most wanted app be it on Linux, windows or the mac. Hell, they could make their office suite compatible only with Novell's SLED, many of the linux users (specially the corporates) would choose to switch to SLED in order to use MS Office. Linux users would welcome a decent office suite from any company, most of the supporters of open source movement are open minded.
Most of the Micro$oft install base does not care if there is a firewall or not, security is the last thing on a home user's mind the working of apps is more important. Average home user does not care about open or closed ports, all they want is Outlook Express running, along with their favorite chat client and bit torrent working without any hitches. If people really did care about security they would not have chosen Windows over say any Linux distro or the bsd flavors out there.
