According to the article you linked to, they didn't hack Hexic to get high scores, they hacked it and got the achievements, there's a difference.
And if these leaderboard problems were because they were getting rid of cheaters, then why have they restored the leaderboards to exactly how they were before everything was deleted? (therefore restoring all of the so-called "cheaters" scores too)
A quick whois on the domain "newstandardkeyboards.com" shows it's registered to the same person that filed for that patent. Searched, but couldn't find any other patents for it.

"Bird flu has killed at least 60 people in Asia since December 2003"
Sixty people died in two years, oh no, if we don't cure it soon we'll all be dead!!!
No offence, but is this really something we need to be worrying about?? Doesn't normal flu kill more people per year?
I've had enough of all these crappy comic book movies, they're polluting the cinema's!!
I shouldn't have to travel 20 miles to go to some posh arty cinema just to watch a decent movie, all because my local cinema only plays what the ignorant masses want to watch.
I want my local cinema to show good movies, not any more of this crap, "all special effects and no story" comic book tripe!!
Marvel, and all who support them in their movie making endeavors deserve to die!!! Painfully!!

"The overly cute online 'game' mostly consists of teaching kids to look at ads"
I don't remember there being any ads when i first signed up, but then that was a while back.
Mr Anonymous Coward, your "member number" also appears to be convienently close to the previous comments, are you involved with this conspiracy?
