Actually, I find it much more likely that the poor bastard would end up with gajillions of people suing the hell out of him for most likely made up monetary damages, and then a hitherto unheard of coalition of groups with way more money than anyone else working to take the domain name from him. Just sitting on it like he is doing now is probably the best option, although if he wants to make some sort of statement to them, he could set his mail server up so that it sends a reply to everyone who sends him an email, which would contain the contents of the original. Of course, that would lead to those who are actually trying to reach him probably forming a mob and burning his house down, but he doesn't need that, right?

I used one at quakecon, and honestly, I hated it. I honestly don't understand how anyone can describe using this thing as feeling anything. It reacted to surfaces and objects in the demos like you would expect it to react, but it wasn't feeling. It was clunky and awkward, to say the least. It was more like taking a stick and moving it along something. Just figured I would share my experiance with the device.

And even though they have a virtual monopoly currently in certain markets, said monopoly is not necessarily permanent, and whatever local groups they have franchise agreements with can decide to terminate their franchise agreement. Also, they might be fined by local authorities. This whole ordeal that they brought upon themselves could have very serious consequences for their future business.
