does anyone realize how stupid this debate is? women and men are built both physically and phsycologically different. men are more inclined towards physical prowess, mathematics and violence, but at times lack common sense and are not as prone to go with any group. women are inclined to try to be beautiful, talking skills, people skills, writing skills, and to follow the group, but they for the most part have great common sense. there are millions of exceptions to this, so trying to judge peoples intelligence or behavior by their sex is really stupid. trying to figure out which sex is superior is not only impossible to do, but it's also irrelevent.

if you want to play any really good fps games besides halo, such as far cry, half life 2, and any battlefield game, you're going to need a decent pc running windows. and for fps games the mouse keyboard setup is still the best. mmorpg's are another thing a pc is needed for. for things like normal rpgs, puzzle and adventure games an xbox'll do just fine. and the mac mini-xbox combo doesnt work out in the end because a a mac mini with 512 mb ram (anything under 512 megs of ram on mac os 10 is kinda slow) costs $550, plus a $100 moniter, plus $20 on a mouse and keyboard, plus $15 on speakers. and then you have to buy a $150 xbox. it comes out to a little more than $835 for that price you could get yourself a pretty decent gaming system with the moniter and everything.

    "Video games are evil."

That's a harsh statement. So does Mario sacrifice babies and kill bunny rabbits? Believe it or not, it's not very hard to moderate your kids PS2 time, just unhook the thing and take it with you when you think they've had enough. Its not like that takes a whole lot of effort.

"would you put a bag of candy in front of your 5 year old and expect them to eat a few pieces then quit because they know it's bad to eat too much?"

I see your point in this analogy, kids don't know whats best for them, but does that mean you never let them have any candy? Moderation is the key word here.
