    I hope everyone realises that the much hyped hydrogen economy of the future is totally dependent on nuclear energy. If I had the money, I'd invest heavily in the companies ivolved in the nuclear industry. Solar, hydro, and wind energy will not be enough to replace oil.

    But if you want to know who the crazies are, it is possible to buy two DUAL GEForce something or other cards for 800 each. So $1600 for the 'graphics card' alone.

    That's pretty crazy! Doom3 was probably the last hardcore 3d game I've played, but wouldn't the xbox360 provide a better gaming experience for a lot less money?

    have you ever had a thought that maybe, just maybe, some people play other games than world of warcraft? and that some people don't like role playing games at all? and that some people even prefer single player games?

    I just picked a fairly new game to illustrate my point. I don't think it matters if it's a single or multiplayer game...

    You might change your "get over it" tune if your grandfather had died from a smallpox genocide blanket, or your grandmother was once raped by her a man who thought he owned her, or if your village was wiped out in a faith-based act of manifest destiny.

    I'm not religious, but I run a religion website because it interests me. I also don't take blame or credit for the actions of my ancestors or countrymen. Pride in things that one has not had a hand in is a vice, in my opinion.

    Why should it? Maybe you can reply with a real username next time. Also, it wouldn't hurt to not jump to conclusions so easily.

    Highscores were a huge part of gaming in the 80's. Even later games like Mario Cart and Goldeneye made great use of fastest times. Competition is great, but some people really don't like playing online games against a bunch of obnoxious 12 year olds.

    A patent tht is never used can do no harm, really. If the patent was valid then he would have evidence in court. If not, no big deal because he would obviously have no case in court.

    I think so. This just establishes prior art in a very clean way. If the patent shouldn't have been granted, the courts can come into play. Anything is better than the system in place now.

    Two fold. But ask people how well they did with gold stocks over the long haul. Or how about pets.com stock? Maybe now is a good time to unload the Google stock, and quit while you're ahead.

    This reminds me of the spending spree done by tech companies during the stock price boom of the late 90's. Google has now found themselves with a shit load of cash, and they figure they better do something with it before people realise how overvalued the stock is. Link
