I wonder if the DARPA Grand Challenge competition had anything to do with this? Personally I'd like to see more competitions like that. The success of the X-Prize should tell us how well competition drives creativity and inovation.
People are too sensitive these days. That said, I think boycotting makes sense in this case. It's a hell of a lot better than trying to ban the game. If you don't like the game or it's apparent message then don't buy it. I don't see what the big deal is here.
Back in the day you could judge the quality of a video card by how fast it displayed the "stars" screensaver on windows 3.1.. And the truly awesome rigs wouldn't skip every few seconds.
And you could also use the solitaire falling cards test. It actually used to take minutes for all the cards to fall after winning a game of solitaire.
I'm glad I did. The battle system was one of the most boring I've ever played in an RPG.
I love rpgs, but I've started to think the same thing about the battle systems. I recommend buying the slashers (Diablo), thinkers (Ogre, Fire Emblem), or the others (Megaman Battle Network) instead.
This reminds me of the spending spree done by tech companies during the stock price boom of the late 90's. Google has now found themselves with a shit load of cash, and they figure they better do something with it before people realise how overvalued the stock is.
Here's to hoping that this game comes with scratch and sniff goodness again. Who could forget Nessie, Zombie Flypaper, and Newage Retro Hippy? I skipped class so often in middle school to play Earthbound...
Games (especially RPGs) are, in my opinion, the ultimate form of escapism. I'm not sure this need for constant stimulation is a good thing or not, but it really is a great way of avoiding the feelings of pain, embarrassment, and sadness.
You must not live in the US. If you did, you would know that most cities only have a broadband duopoly. You have a choice of getting screwed by the telco or the cable company. That's not a free choice.
Maybe Lance Armstrong should use the Gossamer to run errands. No practical value aside, human powered flight is cool.

Good point. Personally, I think that people shouldn't feel pride or shame for what their ancestors have done. But still, good point.

Why would anyone use a word like "blog" when it is not needed. Especially in this case where it makes no friggen sense.
Will the online service be free?

GarageGames seems to be doing pretty good with their shareware downloads. Gish is amazing.

Monster energy drink is my favorite of the bunch. I just wish I could find a chep source of them.

It's important to remember that you don't need to worry about wasted energy if you live in a cold location and use electric heat.
Aside from the fact that this has nothing to do with your rights online:
Maybe not, but what about your rights inline?
We all know how well this stuff worked out for Cosmo Kramer.
E.R., CSI, Numb3rs, I'm sure there are more. They have women, they have science. What more do you want?
Soap operas are a little different.
Why not link it by its publisher.
I like the Amazon reviews. But on a side note, I can't believe that the publisher acually has google ads on the site. Incredible.

At least link to the book!
No problem!

Kind of like your political parties then.
I still can't believe that they kept Clippy and the other characters and actually put them in a professional software suite.
Kind of like African Americans in Florida.
Zing!
I wouldn't mind a Tarantino directed Mortal Kombat movie, and I don't even like most of his movies.
