I'm having the same problem- and it started the instant as I switched to Comcast a month ago (I moved, and have no other option for now). It's ridiculous that they guarantee you a speed they won't give you and expect you to pay hundreds a year for it. As soon as I get the opportunity I'm switching to Qwest, they're running fiber in my city and guaranteeing 20 megabit (and you actually can use all of it).
The problem is that they're promising bandwidth they can't deliver, and if anyone starts using their alloted 6Mbps or whatever, they get cut so someone else can use it. If they weren't selling you a service they couldn't provide, they wouldn't have to throttle anyone.
Sorry for pointing out that your obvious processor of choice is falling behind at an exponential rate and that AMD is going to go out of business before the decade's up.
No, it's criticism. It's telling them things they could have done to improve the game, and telling people things they could have done differently is criticism. Just because I could never program something along the lines of Doom 3 doesn't mean I can't recognize it's flaws.
It's not so much that he's weird as he is absolutely insane. Have you read any of the interviews with him, like the one in Wired? The guy's a loon, and I don't doubt at all that he killed Nina.
Math is an objective way to express things we observe around us, from the strength of gravity's pull to the correlation between the angles in our knees and elbows. Math is a language we invented to show and to prove the things we've discovered.
I agree, I'm not really sure why they decided the EEE would be a good testing ground for multi-touch on a PC. It seems like kind of a strange decision, considering that the EEE is mostly meant to be a cheap word-processing and internet-browsing machine.
They did actually just come out with a really interesting 3D input device, though it's done with arms and actuators rather than light-sensing capabilities. It's called the Novint Falcon (this is a demo showing off both the 3D and haptic capabilities) and I want one really badly.
To me it sounds like another natural extension of the GUI, along with voice controls. For now pinching pictures and whatnot is a little gimmicky, but it's a great way to get a foot in the door for the eventual rise of a much more comfortable and human computing platform.
I agree. While I don't really think an employee has to be busy doing work for every minute of the work day, they really shouldn't be using company time and resources to be doing a whole lot of personal business, especially any of the kind that would get them fired or arrested. The occasional e-mail or the nightly call home to the kids are fine as far as I'm concerned, but there's a point when it's too much.
I said patent because you did and I was pointing out that you were wrong. You're wrong about everything, it was an April Fool's joke and the site is back to normal again. You're really taking the internet seriously right now.
Dude, it's a color. You can't patent a color because you can't invent colors. They won't grant patents for things like that. Besides, it's pink. Pink is a really fucking common color, and it's really shady to try and muscle people out of using it.
Whoops, hit submit too early. I meant to mention that bomb threat was directed towards Henry Kissinger himself, as well as several middle eastern consulates within the US.
The Scientologists have already killed some of their own followers, some in very creepy ways. They have their own private navy that operates in international waters. They tried to pin a bomb threat on author and critic Paulette Cooper. Time Magazine ran a cover story on how dangerous they are. They're also responsible for the single biggest infiltration of the US Government at any time in history. I'd say they're a little crazier than Synanon.
If the shop next to you goes out of business, and you charged $60 before, are you going to start charging $80 just because you can? People are going to look for a different shop.
I've honestly never heard of anybody treated that badly by any business, registrar or not. I'm already resolved never to use GoDaddy, but even if I did have a good opinion of them, your story would make me steer clear of their services.
Yeah, pretty much.
VISTA HAS NO DRIVERS AND NOTHING WORKS
*waits 5 months for wireless drivers*
AT LEAST I DIDN'T FUEL THE KKKORPORATE MICRO$CAM MACHINE
It works on the same principle as Biofeedback, which has been around in some form or another since the 50's. It's definitely more sophisticated than it was half a century ago, but it's been viable for a while now and it's really cool. Great to see it coming to mass market, I'll probably pick one up when I can spare the coin.

... what?
Sorry for pointing out that your obvious processor of choice is falling behind at an exponential rate and that AMD is going to go out of business before the decade's up.
Why is anyone still using AMD?

This is pretty far from actual hacking. It's just robbery. Anyone can do the latter.
You have a point, spam helps finance the Russian mafia, and who knows who they're involved with.

Ok. The site turning magenta for a day was an April Fool's joke.

Calm down, dumbass, it's an April Fool's joke and T-Mobile were douchebags first.
Where have I been living? Not in the apparent racist shithole that is Europe.
Yeah, having a diverse society is such a horrible thing. Why is all of Europe (and the US, for that matter) so xenophobic?
