>I've been programming for more than thirty years, and I love Python
In my experience, the people who love Python are hack programmers who are sloppy with types and exceptions in the beginning, and python just enables the sloppiness.
I think its true that a lot of hack programmers like Python, but it is not true that everyone who loves Pythin is a hack programmer. I know you didn't actually say that but it came across that way.
I often wonder if those who rant about excessive CEO salaries wouldn't gladly accept the same salary if they were in a position to receive it. I suspect 99-99.9% would and gladly, too.
So what if it's supposedly greedy to take what the marketplace will pay for your talents. More power to 'em.
This is a strange argument. If you say it is wrong to complain about unfairness unless you would choose to be a victim then nobody in the West should complain about starving children unless they chose to starve themselves!
And who are they going to troll? Good luck trying to enforce invalid patents in a nation with sane patent laws.
They do it when they want to sell in the US. Ask Sony, Sanyo, or Nokia about it. In the long run a paternt-troll based economy won't generate enough to keep the USA as a major market, but this is a tragedy of the commons, while some people can make a fortune they will carry on.
One cause for the lack of demand of electrical engineers is that the hardware design and manufacturing is located to cheaper countries. However this also means that the competence level of the existing engineers declines slowly since they lack the experience from production.
Don't worry - they'll run some "special visa" progarm when the problem gets too bad. The investors don't mind it if US engineering graduates had to work in McDonalds and have no experience as long as they can get the experienced experts from somewhere
It would be fairly straightforward to have a single login authentication method that exposed a unique id to each login destination. That would eliminate cross-referencing.
If it wasn't based on your email address, it might be feasible for a firefox add-on to pregenerate a couple of hundred persona ids and then automagically assign them to each individual website that has a login. But, my guess is that the email address requirement makes that effectively impossible except for people who own their own domains.
Why impossible? probabilistic encryption schemes could easily generate any number of unique IDs which are bound to your email address

Internally yes, with some instructions processing 128-bits. The address buss is 40-bits wide, limiting? physical memory to 1TB
It's an avoidable business expense. As most airlines are either bankrupt or teetering on the edge, they don't spend a red cent more than they absolutely have to.
Plus why carry something that could only give your airline bad publicity, and open up the possibility of being sued for "not taking sufficient evasive measures".

Thatcher makes me sick, and my first reaction to her death was "great", though I know that this is not a worthy reaction on the death of any human. She started us on the "no such thing as society" route with some people working until they drop or retiring in poverty while others are unemployed. I remember the disbelief when her government said "some people will never get a job" - now its the norm.
The thing I hate her most for is usurping the prayer of St Francis of Assisi. I cannot her it now without thinking about how she did the exact opposite of every single statement - it brings thoughts of selfish greed, self importance and hypocrisy instead of peace and humility now.
Another was changing the law and backdating it when she tried to take money earmarked for London transport, despite the judge saying it was not only legally but morally wrong,
Developers have had years to start making the switch.
True, but many haven't because if you have a website in maintainance mode (a small number of upgrade and changes) it is hard to get approval for an upgrade if what you are using is still supported. I am actually pleased that it is now at end of life, we have been wanting to evaluate new frameworks and upgrade for ages but not given the budget.
The question isn't how to ward off the zombie apocalypse. The question is how could a zombie apocalypse realistically happen at all. Any explanation is a huge stretch.
The truth is that the military military training exercises against zombies are a politically correct way of practising for the time that Muslims rise against civilisation. We know that they plan to do this because their leaders say so, and the effect will be people indistinguishable in a crowd rising up and violently attacking others. The "Zombie" scenario gives them the chance to try strategies that will minimise innocent casualties while taking care of the Muslims. Of course in this PC world, though all top level strategists know what the Muslim leaders are saying and planning, it has to be presented as "defence against Zombies".
They meay be too harsh, but disabled travellers cannot be given a free pass. We all know how devious the Muslims are, and they would just pretend to be disabled if this could get them through security next time they wanted to commit mass murder.
Right, with the mythical binary liquid explosives that can be mixed in the washroom, without a massive rig. OOOOOOKKKKKKKK
They are more likely just to use conventional explosives as they have done in the many other attacks.

I bought this Ferrari and I live in a suburban part of the US. I can't drive it over 70mph on the highways and I'm constantly in stop and go traffic in the city. It's so frustrating!
Can anyone of you tell me how to get the most out of my car?
Sure,
Dress in a flashy suit then drive slowly (20mph or less) past a hangout of hot babes. Then go in and ask "anyone fancy a ride?".

Very true
Except for the iranian part.
When Muzzies are concerned its a relief when they only want to hack your computer. More often they want to murder unbelievers

If they do not carry dosimeters, why not?

Well the Cortex A15 has both.

Although Struts 2 is a complete rewrite, it's backward compatible with Struts 1.
Rubbish, it has entirely different concepts, architecture configurations and just about everything. There are migration tools, but these are far from automatic.
Developers have had years to start making the switch.

Does Struts catapult Java from a terrible server side language to a disastrous framework?
I'm just asking... Java is far too shitty for me so I don't really know.
No, it only goes part way. For that you need Struts 2

The "fixed cost" is probably the fact that very few people weigh zero kilograms.
Yes but now all of them will have an incentive to fly Samoa airlines ;-)

They want to live on the work of others and don't mind the damage they cause to do it. Only Muslims exceed them in these qualities.
Actually, they have to say it three times (just like Beetlejuice).
I said "Microsoft" three times and was hit by a flying chair.
Otherwise I think hydrogen still wins
