But that's the essence of truly being free. I can take the code and then I have the freedom of choice whether to make a profit off of it or not, to give back to the community or not. That's the beauty of freedom, it's MY choice, not yours.
Neither the military, nor government agencies have been able to make major infrastructural changes in our country
That's clearly wrong. The interstate highway system was developed to speed wartime deployment of forces.
I too, am a Christian, and agree 100% with what you said. There is no point in trying to "prove" creation, as it violates the "belief" in the creation. It takes no faith to believe in something proven.
The ONLY point of debate is whether the BigBang/MacroEvolution are fact, or theories. I think that it where a majority of Christians have issues with schools. When the big bang and/or evolution (men from ameoba, not microevolution) are presented as indisputable facts, when they are not. There are problems with both theories. But, it's all we have right now, so yes, they should be taught, but taught as THEORIES and not necessarily facts.
And of course, I have made a spelling error in my post complaining about spelling errors. Apparently, 'grammatical' does indeed have THREE "A's" in it. Ahhh, the irony.
Right there with you. I've submitted two stories this week and both got rejected. Several hours (12-18) later, the stories got posted by usual suspects. Of course, mine didn't have any spelling errors, grammtical errors, or bias in them, so I guess that's why they were rejected. Don't mean to beat a dead horse, it's just very frustrating.
Yes, there were a couple of nuclear engines tested, IIRC in a B-36 Peacemaker testbed. The Russians tried a similar proposal mounted in a Tu-95 Bear.
The first operating nuclear-powered jet engine was a General Electric modified J-47 turbojet. The first test of the design was a ground test of an assembly called the Heat Transfer Reactor Experiment no. 1. Later, a two-engine assembly was also successfully tested on the ground. The reactor was placed in a horizontal configuration and operated for more than 120 hours, including 65 continuous hours. [Source: Nuclear News, "Jet Engine Runs on Atomic Power", Oct-Nov 1960, p. 8
Yes, it has. Back when EPIII was coming out, there were a bunch of fans lined up at the wrong theater weeks ahead of time, and somebody here on slashdot posted the number to the pay phone outside the theater. Well, in very short order, it was constantly busy. It was quite funny.

Quit playing with your dinghy! (sorry, I couldn't resist.)

That's a great point. Why does this Krepon guy's opinion matter in the least bit?
Just uncheck "automatically connect to non-preferred network" and that problem should go away.

Must use...own brain stem....argggh!...wait....it IS funny! Tears of joy! I no longer need your "post score"! I am FREE!!!!

I believe he did. Wow. You learn a new word every day (or at least a new spelling of an old word here on slashdot.)
Oh man, we had HOURS of funny with that site. Sent them all kinds of nastygrams, and various other annoyances. Wow.
Why is this guy rated a Troll? Seems to be a pretty reasonable argument to me.
I think you meant "they'd have" or "they would have".
Or El Nino.
