Sorry, but that list was pretty lame. It's like the writer couldn't decide whether to be funny, or actually helpful. Ah, whatever, at least it gave me something to do for 5 minutes.
Well, it gives me kidney stones so I'd say caffeine is bad for me, at least. In fact, had one last week (that makes 8 so far.) I really should stop drinking caffeine.
Sure you can. You just have to pay the proper taxes. For instance, a suppressor (silencer) is perfectly legal (in most states) as long as you fill out thw ATF form and pay a $200 stamp tax. Same thing with fully automatic rifles/machine guns. You just have to jump through certain hoops.
Well, the answer to this question is simple. Revelation 22:18-19
"(18)I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. (19) If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book."
There are to be NO additions or deletions to the Bible. That is why a lot of Christians have some real doctrinal disputes with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, as they have added an entire book to the Bible (and that is a debate for another time).
I've read a lot about this, but I have not had a problem at all (9800pro and a 9000mobile). It's got to be more than a driver issue. I have heard that some people have been able to get it to work with older drivers (4.7-5.7).
Journalists carry a moral responsability to be impartial (except on op-ed pieces), check their sources, check their sources' statements, and to print the truth
That's true, but we've all seen over the past few years how badly this standard has dwindled, to what has become almost "Print whatever you feel like, and if it turns out wrong, we might retract later after everyone has forgotten aboutit." If journalists are to be held to that standard and receive the benefit of BEING a journalist, then the standard has to be enforced. The trick is enforcing it without the government being involved, so as to stave off any notion of preferrential treatment.
What accountability? Networks and papers run crap all the time that's not correct, and never get called on it. (ie, there's 10,000 dead people in New Orleans; they're eating people in NO, etc...)
I just got done playing the first three chapters of this game tonight and it is AMAZING! Graphics are so-so, but the STORY! The story is so immersive, I forgot where I was for a while. Highly recommended.
I have never been as emotionally attached to a game as I was when I played Call of Duty. I cried at the end, because you really get a feeling of what those guys went through. It was amazing.
I want to throw up everytime I see those tire commercials with "sexy people" dancing in the rain...What the fuck does that have to do with your tires? lol
I thought I was taking crazy pills the first time I saw those commercials. Glad I'm not the only one who thought "WTF?!?"
I've been using IE7 since it came out in beta, and I absolutely love it. I've quit using FF altogether. My only complaints about IE7 is the menubar that can't be moved, and the favorites list. But I'm used to it now, so it's not really a problem. The thing hasn't crashed, locked up, or caused ANY problem whatsoever since I installed it. And it's FAST. Anyway, I'll probably be modded troll because I like IE7, but thought you might be interested in an alternative viewpoint.

Mod parent up! (Funny, Insightful) You mind if I copy that to my journal? That was great!
The Bible is actually one of the first places that mentions a spherical earth. (Isaiah 40:21-22, Proverbs 8:27, Job 26:10, and a few others).

Excellent post. Kudos. One thing though, this is slashdot: intellectual honesty not spoken here.

When it contradicts law-enforcement and national security, for one.

only hopeless loosers enter the police This could be the single dumbest thing I have ever read on Slashdot. And that, my friends, is saying something.

Damn, it's like you're my twin. Excellent post, sir.
Arrr, tis a pity that yon currs know nothing of "talk like a pirate day". Arrr.
Where are you getting your numbers from for human CO2? I've never seen any numbers remotely close to that.
You forgot the First Rule! You do not talk about usenet!
Or you could just use Usene...DOH! Forgot the first rule!
What game are "they" from? I'm..just...curious...? Yeah.
Wish I had mod points. That was dang funny!
Sign me up, too!
