Sure it does. Censorship need not be used on first amendment protected speech. It can be used on private speech on a private website just as much as it can be used by government on television or radio broadcasts. The only difference is that the owner of a website has the right to censor speech on his own website.

I don't see the review claiming that porn necessarily will cause those things, just that it can. In much the same manner that some people who drink alcohol become alcoholics, but not all. That's great that you have a good relationship and that porn may have actually helped you, but here's a newsflash for you: NOT EVERYONE IS LIKE YOU. Just because something doesn't negatively affect you doesn't mean it won't negatively affect someone else. And just because you call for modding down, yell, and otherwise insult the review and the book doesn't make what ultimately amounts to your opinion any more right than the reviewer's.

There are people who like anime. There are people who like video games. And there are people who belong to both groups. However by no means is one group a subset of the other. There are still significant portions of the gaming population that do not like animation, american or anime, especially among more casual non-geek players. Just because a higher percentage of game players also like anime does not mean that all do.

Sarcasm aside, opening up games consoles to any developer is, from the perspective of the gaming community, akin to killing a cow which is providing you with free milk. Sure, for a short period of time you get steak...but in the long run your cow is gone and you're much worse off.

Opening up console development to anyone might provide a period of all sorts of interesting and creative games for consoles, but at the cost of killing the console market in the long run. Sony and MS and Nintendo aren't going to put out consoles which at best would make them a little money (and currently actually lose them money) if they can't make money from game liscences and sales.

It would only affect Christian fundamentalists though and they should have problems with the very existence of Mars itself. Nowhere in the bible does it ever state that life only exists on Earth. In fact it never says that he created any other planets at all, but clearly we know they're there. If we operate from the premise that he created the entire universe, and thus created Mars and all other planets as well as Earth then certainly we could accept that he created life on those planets as well. The existence of life on other planets is no more damaging to religious views than the existence of other planets themselves. Obviously that fundamental premise is still in dispute, but life on other planets is not a counter example to it.

The boiling point of any liquid is directly related to the pressure. Lower the pressure and you lower the boiling point. The pressure even at the highest peaks of Earth is not nearly as low as the pressure on the surface of Mars and thus you can have boiling of water on Mars at much lower temperatures than you would ever see on Earth.

It's just begging to cut out half your consumer base. However, note that in the article I just linked to it states that a separate company, run by one of the creators of Final Fantasy, will be making at least two RPGs for the 360. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of backlash and bad press that a Deus Ex movie would generate. Given the fact that that JC eventually helps people who would be portrayed for half the movie as terrorists (including blowing up the Statue of Liberty), fighting against the UN and the US government. Further, they would either have to end the movie with a) Denton blowing up Area 51 (oh noes! Terrorism!), b) conspiring with a secret organization to control the world, or c) essentially taking over the world. I can't imagine any of those endings not pissing a lot of people off for "glorifying" what they percieve as evil.

Of course if they understood the actual plotline it wouldn't be an issue, but I don't count on mainstream Americans to think rationally about things anymore. That being said, I still think it would be funny as hell seeing all the over-reactions.
