I think you'll get a lot of takers on that... especially if you can team up with someone who can blank (i.e. no digital identity in the system) them at the same time.
Ya know, while there are some women in our office I could do without seeing naked, I think I'd be willing to put up with that to see some of the others in the buff.
I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but here where I live they cannot introduce new terms of employment after you have been hired, under threat of firing if you refuse. You would be perfectly within your rights to refuse to sign anything that wasn't presented to you as a requirement for employment at the time of hiring... I have, in fact, done so and the company had no recourse.
In my opinion, though, if things get to the point where any legal wrangling is involved, you are better off just moving on.
I think you overestimate the cost of updating by comparing it to Y2k.
Most of the changes to support DST will be made at an OS level, as opposed to an application/database level.
I do not think this will have much of an impact, but it will still be a bit of a shuffle to get it done by November.
Yeah, but let's face it... the Republicans have got to be as scared of removing the filibuster option as the Democrats are. It's a tool used by BOTH sides when THEY'RE not the ones that are in control.
I'm not saying it won't happen, but if it does then they're shooting themselves in the foot as much as they are the Democrats.

Don't forget, it would be quite important for a Slashdot Toolbar to take the page you're viewing and dupe it's contents at least 2 or 3 times.

Yeah, but EVERYONE uses France for that predictable knee-jerk response...
Autoduel, not AutoAssault. AutoAssault is the new MMO vehicular combat game being developed by the folks at NetDevil.
Although I must say, I think Chris Rock's voice would actually manage to be LESS annoying than the voice they had in the original.
It would be more effective if a lot of folks started wearing the Darth Vader mask in public, otherwise you'd stick out even more.
So, c'mon everyone... pop them masks on!
