From my understanding a journal is a source to publish ideas that may or may not be conclusion. In this case a study of 12 children came to a conclusion that their might be a link between the MMR vaccines and autism.
The problem was that the sample size was 12 children and since then several studies have been released that showed in a much larger sample the link wasn't so obvious.
The real question is why wasn't this study retracted earlier? Or did it take 12 years to debunk the study?
Streaming a video from the Windows 7 machine and surfing the web will produce stutters. Talked with a buddy that is a a major account TAM--apparently the networking issue has been well known since the RC and affects nVidia and Intel chipsets. My question to him--so what chipsets does that leave unaffected?
Man: Well, I believe I'll vote for a third-party candidate.
Kang: Go ahead, throw your vote away.
...The next day...
Marge: I don't understand why we have to build a
ray gun to aim at a planet I never even heard of.
Homer: Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
According to the article at anandtech the following are still unknown: Clock Speeds, Power Usage, Pricing, Performance. Pretty much the breakers are unknown.
You purge your data but don't delete the account, you want it to be a skeleton account thats still active. Let it sit there as there backups loop over your account. Will it be gone? Who knows but its better than deleting it and hoping Mr Zucker deletes it.
My account sits active with 2 photos, no applications, and the minimum personal information required.
I use it to find family members and friends I need to get in contact with and also for event invitations which I think is its strongest value.
Now why does this make me special? It doesn't, its the fact that the majority of my friends who used to have bucket loads of information, photos, and applications have since gone to a skeleton account like me. This makes us a loss, we bring no value to the site. The more and more people who do this, the lower the value of Facebook.
Actually, Disney used a very effective anti-copy technique when they were still using VHS. It would scramble the picture if you tried copying it, it required special equipment and a lot of know how to get around it.
Its like Ebaumsworld. Created by a few people in the late 90s, years later they sold the rights to another company, were kept on staff and were eventually laid off. They released their own statements feeling that they were screwed, yet fully forgetting that they were paid off so they wouldn't have control.
Metals, Coal, Petroleum. Most of the major deposits are either tapped right now or been exhausted. Additionally, the new deposits are in areas that are harder to get to such as under the sea or miles below the surface of the earth. You must ask yourself is it better to keep digging or possibly get off this rock?
Firefox gained popularity because of Tab Browsing and being free. IE lacked Tab Browsing till 2006, and Opera was still Ad-Driven based by the time Firefox was first released in 2004.
I am not saying its a bad browser, but why should I switch over from Firefox? What does it have that Firefox doesn't and don't tell me obscure HTML 5 features that are not used yet or speed. Firefox is still pretty fast and acceptable.
That law is terrible, it just assumes you are pirating a film, I understand if you have intent to pirate a film you can be charged with a felony, but when there is no intent (which is clear in this situation) you still get charged and with a felony? At least drop it down to a misdemeanor or a fine when no intent is found.
That is ridiculous. I guarantee no one read this law at all.
What entity is going to be stupid enough to press charges for this knowing all of the bad publicity this is going to cause?
One that is thinking about this weekends ticket sales, and not one that thinks, will I be in business 1,3,5 years down the road?
As stated earlier in this thread, employees of movie theaters get rewards for reporting this. Although, I bet the fine print says the individual has to be convicted, so if a plea goes through or charges are dropped, they get nothing.
This is an obvious case of someone who didn't realize what they were doing at the time and there was no intent to pirate the movie. And unfortunately will face the heat for such a minor issue.
You can scroll to the bottom of the page listings at Experts-Exchange responses and you will see the answer. Its just filled with clutter to confuse you into buying a subscription but the answers to the question are literally at the bottom of the page.
When the game sucks you release the demo weeks after the initial release, thus suckering people into buying the real product because they wont / cant wait, only to be disappointed.
Although, the recent trend has been to release a early beta and when you run into problems they say its beta and it will be fixed in the commercial release.
He didn't presume that it was all illegal, he just said he never saw anything legal, and I would agree.
Go to the Top 100 Video/Movie section on their website and skim the Top 100, you will see nothing but copyrighted material, and if you see something legal it will be 1 or 2 of the 100.
He never states there is nothing but illegal material on the website. He is saying that the majority of the stuff you find is copyrighted, which cant be denied because I bet at least 95% of everything on there is copyrighted.

So is it Nvidia, Intel, or Microsofts fault?
True but Microsoft was the puppet master and IBM was the puppet.
Proficient in C,C+,C++
So as the Mythbusters would say, plausible but not practical?
Oh Sorry...
LOL A$$LE can't code
Wait, that doesn't look right.

And thats Microsofts fault how?
Microsoft provides the ability to be up to date and secure as well as backwards compatibility, its the users risk for which he chooses not Microsofts.

Don't give Tom Green any new ideas.
If you see anything good, or even just really strange, be sure and post it here!
Nice try TMZ.

...and anybody savvy just uses BitTorrent anyway.
I assume you're talking about using BitTorrent to download copyrighted material?
That free ride wont last forever.
There's virtually nothing good on television anyway
