  6. They have no evidence, not even circumstantial evidence of guilt. They have hearsay, uncorroborated statements, witnesses who have a history of actions that devalue any statements they make. There's not even basic general knowledge statements that they can give which can be corroborated by people. Nothing has been to court, nothing has been tried on fact or law. There's been no verdicts rendered...

    I'm sure that Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn, and George Papadopoulos will all be quite relieved when you inform them of this.

    Many countries allow resident non-citizens to vote in local elections. (Feel free to check me on this, but I believe it's actually the norm in most of Europe.) I myself voted twice for local offices here in Sweden before becoming naturalised. The only difference for me in last month's election as opposed to the previous two is that I was able to vote for the Riksdag and the EU Parliament for the first time.

    I'm not convinced that using 1/5 the space automatically saves you 4/5 of the time required to read it (or write it, for that matter).

    I suppose it's possible that Chinese sign-makers use a lot less paint per sign than do their Western counterparts, though.

    I've used a similar trick to communicate in China when someone couldn't understand my pronunciation.

    I must say it's quite entertaining to watch their expressions when they realise that's what the funny-sounding white guy is doing. :-)

    Japanese uses many of the traditional forms as well as simplifications that differ from those used by Simplified Chinese.

    On topic: This is definitely NOT a font you'd want to use for writing code.

    And problems ensue when someone on the receiving end automatically assumes that "This is a stupid thing to do" equals "You're a stupid person", which I don't believe is (usually!) his intention at all.
