The E.U. probably isn't interested in that, but stupid politicians isn't a unique phenomena limited to the U.S., I wouldn't be surprised if European politicians actually believe the Internet will fall apart if they don't get the magical ICANN boxen moved over to Europe ASAP. :P

Maybe the ones who created the state of Israel had no right to it, but surely you cannot suggest that those born in Israel since then have no right to their homeland? Two wrongs don't make a right.

Check out the risk-taking in nations that have low life-expectancy. If you're 40, and not going to live past 50, you don't waste the time you have stopping at red lights.

Less maniacs on the road killing and maiming people because they don't waste time stopping at red lights can only be seen as a good thing. One could also consider that maybe the reason their life expectancy is so low is because they take many risks?

I think consumers already have grown tired of paying obscene amounts and have started to spend less money on music and movies. Too bad the RIAA and MPAA are just pushing for more DRM and crying "waah, waah, pirates", when in reality their incomes are dropping because people don't want their garbage anymore. The free market will prevail however, and it's only a matter of time before they run out of money and die off.
