Why would Cisco buy Nintendo?
Well think about it this way. Time Warner is a HUGE customer of Cisco. Cisco acquired Scientific Atlantic which makes cable set top boxes. Humm then Time Warners network would be optimized with Cisco's hardware and TV/Cable controlled by Cisco's boxes.
Now combine this with Cisco's IPTV, and Network Virtual Private Storage Solutions and you pretty much have Video on demand over IP any time of the day. Throw a game console in the mix and you have diversified in to a game service niche, much like xbox live.
As a former employee of Apple and an avid Apple fan I must ask a few things of the posters in this section.
STOP THE LAME ASS COMPLAINTS ABOUT "we should have swithed to AMD, at least they have a 64 bit laptop chip". NO FUCKING SHIT. AMD also has HALF the production facilities that Intel has.

On another note I have a 20 iMac PPC G5 w/SD and 2 GB of DDR 400 memory. I dont ever use more than 1 GB of memory at any one time. So please enjoy the move to intel as it DOES offer performance increases.
They really should offer more than 1GB of total space. I can use my Gmail space to store files on and its at 2.6GB... the kicker is that GMAIL IS FREE!
I think by Apples strategy is to keep a constant revolving door so to speak with their new products. I understand the company is going through changes, however if you do not standardize your computer lines you do nothing but become another "Dell". Macbook and iMacs were announced...a bit lopsided upgrade if you ask me and obvious others on/.. The iBook needs the most revision out of any of them. New hardware released every 3-5 months pisses your comsumer base off. Please Apple, standardize your computing line like it once was so those of us who *JUST* bought computers from you dont feel like asshats when a new release is announced.

Our 2.3Ghz G5 Xserves smoke both the G5 iMac and the Intel even when the Intel is running native code at least with our apps.
