Because my last decent, on-topic troll resulted in a stream of fat bitch on the internet trolls, that's why. So I thought I'd save AC's time... lol... YHBT...
Too late. Running away hasn't helped you - and it won't help me. You're at -1, hun. Oh well, bring on the flamewar. Next, they'll be calling me a fat bitch (which I'm not).
It's a Toshiba Satellite R10 tablet, not a "table" as I mistakenly typed above, and it is VERY slow, but it, like all the other systems I have owned for maybe 10 years+, including my 800MHz Pentium 3 server box (running since 2004 with nary a glitch!), it just doesn't crash and "burn" like stuff used to. It doesn't matter who made it and when, if it works it's great and if it doesn't, then it's not. Apple's markup should allow for a rigorous quality control setup, but obviously in this case Apple has missed the mark.
Yes, yes it is. I'm running a table with a single-core Pentium 4, 512Mb of Ram, Intel 945gm graphics and Windows 7 on a 60Gb hard drive, and I expect it NOT to crash. Slow down, maybe, churn, make me frustrated (lol), but I haven't seen computers crash and burn without reason (like faulty drivers, hardware fault) for at least 5 years.
So this IS news for nerds, fanboi. As in, it's news when a computer company with margins like Apple lets its customers down in the name of profit, and nerds (who buy computers) need to know about it. News for nerds.
You're correct, the few-day-old pics I've seen look scary but apparently the actual containment is intact. But what if, and that was my main point, the containment isn't, and that's what these photos show? It's the first thing I thought of.
Well at that point, we would still have the situation I described where the public response makes things worse than they actually are. But hey, we're all just speculating now aren't we?
They didn't want the West reading all the obscene graffiti written all over the inside of the reactor walls by over-zealous construction crews... or maybe, on a more serious note, the disaster and it's likely consequences are worse than Japan has stated?
With such a small country, the people most likely know just how devastating only one breach could be, but maybe the mass panic will be worse than the actual disaster, so the government is keeping it quiet for public safety in the long run?
My last troll put paid to his "fat bitch troll". Look it up, there's pics and everything. But hey, he doesn't need to, I'm pretty damn sure he was there - the comment is almost verbatim!
Nope, I chose those pics to put off really shallow men, whilst advertising my body to those willing to look past my ugly face. It's a dating site, remember. Thanks for playing.
I call you're "fat bitch" troll, troll. www.tagged.com/rachelwilsonattagged. Now kiss my sexy ass. But don't add me. lol. To quote me "Best features: hips, boobs, bum, BRAINS!"
What good reasons would they be? The fact that he'd be a crotchety old sod by now, or the fact that lots of people think he did bad things? Maybe it would be better if he were around today. I guess we'll never know...
I claim best troll on this article. Everyone else might as well just troll the next article. I just well and truly Godwined this one...
Well played, son. That's the first goatse I've fallen for in years, and it had to happen in the god-damn apple store in the Manchester arndale centre! Long live the trolls!
I think the parent poster was being sarcastic, cos, you know, rich arty types who buy Apple stuff like to live in tents and howl at moon, and participate in, errr, drumming circles, which sound terrible because they only gather to practice at weekends...
Where are your links to double-blind tests? And why aren't you dogfooding your "transparent" mp3s instead of "wasting" disc space on FLAC? And yes, I can, I've been fixing, building and listening to proper hi-fi since I was six. Are you just trolling me?
Where the hell do you get the idea that mp3 is transparent? It is, by it's very definition, LOSSY compression, losing information (and therefore quality) is part of the spec!
But lets see if you're serious... Wharfedale speakers, Sony mid-range CD player, Rotel amp. ANYTHING with MP3 as the source. Use a musician's ears or an oscilloscope and microphones, and TRY to prove me wrong.
Re: Trinitrons, 1600x1200 @ 85Hz and contrast ration >700:1. Kiss my trolling, female butt.
Yep, and the same way my 1980s hifi seperates sound better than any MP3 source, and my 1990s 21" Trinitrons have better resolution than most LCDs and a higher contrast ratio than ANY flat tech.
Why are we getting dumber, poorer, and unhealthier?
This is great, however, the first "big chord" - e flat minor, I believe (I do actually play the organ and that chord is a bitch to play!) cannot be reproduced properly with this many drives, as it takes all ten fingers to play! Nonetheless, this is great, and gave me plenty of giggles! Roll out the site, Mr. Floppy Organ!

You mean Fallout?

What's this? You're called counter-trolling? Now it's getting confusing.
Are you like the troll who trolls the trolls or something? Cos this ^^^, my friend, is a troll.
My last troll put paid to his "fat bitch troll". Look it up, there's pics and everything. But hey, he doesn't need to, I'm pretty damn sure he was there - the comment is almost verbatim!
1st post, so Chrome must be fastest...
Nope, wrong again. That was a spelling troll, specially crafted just for you. Thanks for biting.

And I was hoping you were going to say, "figure". /troll

"contrast ration" - and spelling Nazis, there's a troll for you, too, albeit an accidental one. x
lol. trollbiter.

This is old news ... didn't Prof. Farnsworth do this in Futurama, to bring back Fry's dog (i.e. use magma as a power source).
