Actually I agree with the anonymous guy. They should have put out a normal priced CD as well. That way, if I do pirate the tracks and like them, then I might be inclined to buy it. But asking 80$ is an unreasonable price for a CD. Especially because I don't care about the other stuff in the box.
With Windows XP Starter Edition, first-time home PC users can have up to three programs and three windows per program running concurrently. Further simplification of the operating system includes setting a maximum display resolution of 1024x768 and no support for PC-to-PC home networking, sharing printers across a network or more advanced features such as the ability to establish multiple user accounts on a single PC.
Why limit yourself AND waste 3$ when you can use a free operating system?
Isn't SELinux that thing that makes applications NOT WORK and you must always remember to disable it when installing linux distributions that include it?
Seriously, did SELinux ever get any easier to configure?
Sorry, but I never played any of those. Different generation?
Actually, there were a few old LucasArts games that used the Scumm engine (The Dig, The Curse of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max) which were very fun. But I'm not sure of their impact.
It was hard to pick between MK and SF II, maybe both should be in the list. I wasted many quarters and nights playing both. But the reason I ended up picking MK is because I think there was more of a "cult" associated with MK. The darkness of the game, the gore, the fatalities, the "cheats" to unlock characters, and especially the fact that the characters were REAL PEOPLE made MK an original in my opinion.
But now that you mentioned it, SF II did spawn a bunch of "cartoonish" 1-on-1 fighting games. And the characters were great. I still remember Blanka chewing my head, damn that took a lot of power off.
As far as GTA, it didn't get really popular till 3D, but the same idea was implemented in GTA 1 & 2 (a criminal roaming the city). So it's kinda arguable. I actually played GTA 2 more than any of the others. I guess saying the "GTA series" would be more correct.

The Errata sniffer, dubbed Ferret, packs more punch than other network sniffers already available, such as Ethereal and Kismet, because it looks at so many different protocols, Graham said. Some at Black Hat called it a "network sniffer on steroids."
Oh Wowsers! DHCP, SNMP, DNS and HTTP! That's so many! It's a shame Ethereal can only look at these!
According to ActiveWin.com, a Microsoft official at CES told them that work has already begun for IE 8 and it may be released as a final product 'within 18-24 months'
I own a 360 too, and I just got a Wii Monday. I didn't buy any games yet. I've only played Wii Sports, and I am very impressed with the Wii. Once I started playing the boxing game I knew it was revolutionary. Using the controller is a completely new gaming experience.
I am very glad that I bought it. I'm just displeased that every friggin store around here doesn't have a) Zelda or b) Wii controllers. I can't wait to fight my wife in the boxing game!
I didn't mean to elect Bill Gates specifically. I meant it would be nice if there was a president that I could relate to and we both shared the same interests in Computer Science. Not just anyone who knows how to save a text document to disk.

This isn't 1984 man. Write "Fuck the police" if you want.
Enjoy life. That's my opinion.

ROFL. Dude, you made my week. =)
I don't mind so much in racing games, but if I see a Wal-Mart logo on my needler in Halo 3 then I'm gonna be pissed.

Can you really browse the internet and play a game at the same time? Quite impressive.

Hole-y crap!
If you mean just the playing field (100 yards) then it's approximately 1.03461597 × 10^23 yards.

Very fun.

Even though it seems everyone hates the guy, I wouldn't mind having a president that knows something about computers.
