With Tom Toms you can import voice files, so someone very well could compile one if she said all the "right" things. Someone managed to make a GlaDOS voice set... so you never know.
I play TF2 on a desktop I built almost seven years ago. Besides adding another stick of RAM (1GB now!) and plopping in a used Radeon 9800 Pro, it hasn't changed.
I would say that compared to Spore's hype, it definitely sucked. Viewed just as a standalone game, it is incredibly mediocre. I have a review on my site if anyone is interested.
I'm going to examine your post completely based just on your username and user id.
Your id is really high, I can't accurately estimate when you joined, but it must have been recently, so thus you consciously chose your username recently.
Now about your username, it's a combination of three words: mew, shi, and nya. I'm guessing here, but mew is probably Mew, the 151st Pokemon, shi is probably the last syllable of Yoshi, and nya is how cats "mew" in Japanese, and also Meowth's (another Pokemon) basic sound on the TV show Pokemon.
So you say the video game industry lost you a while ago, but your username may very well be a combination of three popular Nintendo characters. Now I can understand if you've had this username a while, but a quick Google search ("mewshi_nya" -slashdot) reveals that it is used only on Slashdot.
That is the end of my examination, I conclude that though the video game industry lost you, you still love your Pokemon.
I got Cisco certified in high school and I didn't come from a rich district, just got lucky that there was a technical school next door that worked with the high school to set up a class for us.
Well, maybe they have to work out deals with the publishers first? Things take time, especially when dealing with companies like EA who would rather have their own program than participate in Nintendo's.
A lot of people are seeing Obama as an honest savior of their lives, in all aspects. There was a popular meme shortly after he was elected featuring a woman saying now she wouldn't have to worry about paying for gas or her mortgage.
I think what he's trying to imply is that Google could easily modify their javascript to do whatever it likes. Of course, the chances of Google actually doing that are slim to none, but the possibility exists.
char * and an int are easier to understand than a String? I would tend to disagree with that. And yes, fundamentals are important, but if you're going to rag on Java, realize it still has all the primitives other languages do. Chars, ints, doubles, longs, booleans, etc. etc.
And it's not too hard to explain a class, it's an object. Like a real world object. And learning the main method in Java is a great way to introduce a bunch of other concepts. What does public mean? What does static mean? What does void mean? It leads to a bunch of fundamental questions that are the foundation of a lot of languages.
The first language I learned was QBASIC, and then C++, and then Java, so there's my history if you're interested. I'm now a full-time Java programmer, so biases revealed.
I've used that extensively and really liked it. I never really thought that reading a book on the DS would be worth it though, but maybe this from Nintendo will change my mind.
Well, I own an R4 but it's not supported anymore. No more official firmware updates and unofficial ones are sketchy... A sibling suggested the AK2 which I'm not familiar with, but I'm sure the best replacement will rise to the top.
Excellent idea. I recently got my first house and my parents finally found a reason to dump all the old magazines I had been collecting over the years on me. Hundreds of issues of Nintendo Power, EGM, Game Players, Incite, Ultra Game Players, Game Pro, Computer Gaming World, PC Gamer, strategy guides (from SMB3 to Chrono Trigger), etc.
They're awesome to flip through but they take up so much space. I'd really like to keep them but shove them away somewhere but still have easy access to them. Ugh...
Beards are a great point. In my license picture I have no facial hair, now I have a full beard. My hair is also quite a bit longer. I wouldn't say I look like a completely different person just a mere two years after getting this one taken, but I doubt I would be recognized by this facial recognition software.
My wife watches it with me too, but only the parts where they're racing across town/country/continent.
Excellent point, u10 was the next "major" minor release after u07, check out the release notes for it here, they're... long.

Top Gear is the best show on television.
That is all.
She actually finished recording for the new movie... so I guess they can stop after that?

So by your logic, Clinton shouldn't have president either. Neither should have JFK, Nixon or Truman.
Sometimes it feels that "None of the Above" would have worked a lot better than anyone else.
If anything, it sounded like Fallout 3 took actions to avoid being broken.
I once had a bourbon cooled CPU. Then it overheated, because I drank it all.
Stallman's beard?
Just tell them about all the energy savings and cartoon birds will start flying around their heads as a giant smile grows on their face.

Wow, talk about a bad example.

ensuring them a light source at all times.
Except those 90 seconds.
In which you will be eaten by a grue.
I just call him David Bowie.

I really did make myself sound like that, well, ever since I moved back into my mom's basement, things just haven't been the same.
