What sense would it make for a university to teach something that is clearly not an industry standard? Macs are great for toys for pseudo-intellectual hipster types and "graphic designers" (mostly idiots who think they're artists because they made a website once), but they have no real place in a university setting where people get educated so they can work.

So you're saying there should be no such thing as copyrights, trademarks, or non-software patents too? Get your head out of your ass, the only reason the GPL can exist is because of copyright and IP law, but that's too inconvenient for you and your crusade against the acronym "IP".

That all would make sense if the israelis were not actively refusing to return to the UN recognized borders. Their acts of aggression (such as that one) continue and they are refusing to deal with the underlying issue and rather are deciding to demolish palestinian homes to make room for settlements

I disagree, I just got a new Dell XPS M1530 with Vista preinstalled, and I genuinely tried to get it to work for me, got all the applications i use in windows normally, etc. I used it for about 4 hours, after which i noticed my computer was not nearly as fast as the one it was replacing (aging pentium 4 system), and decided to install XP. Now, it runs great, and uses about 2/3 the ram that was being consumed by Vista. Oh, and now I have the ability to play games without the horrible FPS that came with Vista.
