Does this mean that the names of all those found guilty at Nuremberg have to be removed from wikipedia?
Or does it only apply after a certain date - and not if they were hanged.
What a stupid law - an pure example of lets protect the murderer (whether or not they have "served their time" they are still murderers).
They didn't lose weight because while the "scientists" weren't looking, the fatso's were sneaking off to the fridge for an extra serve of deep fried Mars bar with icecream and a pop-tart for garnish.
Or, they simple eat so much that their body can't absorb all of the fat with their low metabolism. Raise their metabolism and they simple absorb more to compensate.
They have every right to tell you what you can use the software on - after all you don't own the software. You own a license to use that software on the provisor that you agree to the EULA. If the EULA states that you must use their hardware, then your license is invalid if you choose to use it on hardware other than that allowed.
Ah what? Can someone translate I don't speak Scot.
(Just kidding - My name is Scott!)
I just had to lol at "yer wee" - but I was entirely disappointed that it wasn't "yer wee statment but tbh I canna be bothered!"
It's called usability. Most, if not all, dialogs only have one set of "OK" and/or "Close" buttons - so they're not "everywhere". How much information do Mac's have in their dialogs that would prevent them from being able to fit a 22 pixel high button? They generally don't take up much space, and generally DO have keyboard shortcuts. And what shortcuts are you missing exactly? Perhaps we can help you...
You could always RTFA. Oh wait, this is slash dot. Here's an excerpt for you...
"The new novel, A MEMORY OF LIGHT, will be the twelfth and final book in the beloved fantasy series which has sold over 14 million copies in North America and over 30 million copies worldwide. The last four books in the series were all #1 New York Times bestsellers, and for over a decade fans have been eagerly awaiting the final novel that would bring the epic story to its conclusion."
"For a four-seater it is a big aircraft, measuring twelve metres (39 feet) long, seven metres high by five wide. It has never attained an altitude of more than seven feet."
Looking at the image on the article, that makes him about 6 metres tall and probably a metre or two wide. I think we can assume that none of those measurements are correct...
Or maybe it's 7 metres tall when the rotor breaks and folds upwards...
Presumably you are not a developer? Or if you are you haven't considered using something like VMWare (or even the Windows Mobile Emulator) for development/testing. Multiple cores make using these products soooo much nicer. You can have virtual servers and workstations running on a single machine. For implementation testing you can use "Snapshots" to revert back to a "clean" state (in a matter of minutes) so you can test your implementation over and over again.
Having multiple cores makes your virtual machines run "100%" faster (Eg. You go from your emulator/VM and your development environment/debugger sharing a processor to them running on their own core). Quad core will mean that you can run a VM network at near to full speed.
Once you've tried it, using a single core machine (even with that "HT" rubbish Intel pawned for so long) is painful.
If the DRM takes 10 years to crack, then HDDVD will most likely be more popular with the consumers as they'll be able to *ahem* backup their movies (even though they probably aren't allowed to in some parts of the world - The Mafiaa has (a) too much money and/or (b) no kids).
Of course if the DRM is that good, then it will most likely be more popular with the vendors.
The NASA folks have done absolute wonders with UNMANED missions
Yes - that time they fired a Lion at the moon was a complete disaster. Came down in a Retirement Village. Absolute carnage...
Ooooh! You mean unmanned. Sorry.
As a side note; NASA have probably had more unmanned missions fail than manned ones. It's just that we remember the successful unmanned missions and the unsuccessful manned missions the most.
"(which is really just another way of saying SOME people will get ADSL2+) "
Uh - no, Fibre to the node promises much faster speeds than ADSL2+ (100Meg? vs 20Meg). ADSL2+ is already available - but with Telstra's pricing structure no one wants it. I live in 10min West of Ballarat. It's very low density around here (maybe 1000 ppl), but our CMUX is ADLS2+ enabled - but you can't get it unless you sign up with Telstra.
But the fourth one stayed up. And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England
Funny mod's well deserved evilpengquin.
However the one after that will take a bit longer...

Nein!

Yeah - wow - I'm so impressed.
Or am I?
Nope - I was wrong, I'm not.
OMG - TV lied to me! DAMN YOU TV! Oh - and what's "Grodie" - is that a muppet? :D

Where the bloody hell are you?

I tried to look at the web page about Windows Server 2008. But everything was CORRUPTED!
You know, I was going to say something, but you'd used up all the w's.

IIRC that was the second paragraph.

It doesn't have to. It just has to find something that hashes to the same value as your new password.
What happens if you have an Evil twin?
Yes - but there aren't as many cars crashing...
Buy a SATA card? Get a new motherboard? Join the revolution?
"At the moment, all digital cameras are manufactured outside Europe. They're all imported. All of them."
Is it none? Not one? They are all made outside the EU?
Talk about emphasising a point.
