Willing to use a quote from the U.S. president Benjamin Franklyn
Benjamin Franklin was never a U.S. president, and in the U.S. "the right of the people to keep and bear arms." is the Second Amenement to the Bill of Rights of the Constitution. So it is one of the Essential Liberties of the United States.
with a gun or large blunt object could put that thing out of commission somewhat easily
"I didn't hit it that hard, it must've had some kind of self-destruct mechanism."
#1: You must be new around here. = You must be new here
#2: You must promote *insert favorite Linux distro here*, not cracked copy of XP. (While XP is much better than Vista, it was created by Microsoft, and must therefore die)
#3: Using the "You must be new here" meme on someone with a 4 digit UID while you have a 7 digit UID.
In March 2007, Mac OS has market-share of 6.09%. In January 2008 that had increased to 7.57%. Not bad. And while Linux is significantly smaller, it too has something interesting to report. In March 2007, Linux had market-share of 0.4%. In January 2007, Linux had market-share of 0.67%. That's an over 50% increase in market-share in under a year. Had OS X had similar growth, they would have went from 6.09% in march to over 9% in January.
While that is interesting, I think your math is wrong.... If Linux had a market-share of 0.4% in March 2007, and 2 months previously in January 2007 had a market-share of 0.67% it's a decrease. It would make sense though if you were talking about March 2007 and January 2008....
The funny thing about that is, my email account with them is still active, with all of my emails.
While that in itself isn't very funny, what is, is I haven't been a Charter customer in about 3 years. I just keep getting my mail forwarded to my gmail account.
And that's impossible. I mean science has always gotten everything right about physics. Don't belive those crazy rumors going around that the world is spherical....
As much as we know about physics, astronomy, matter, time, space, etc... There's that much more that we don't know.
I'm not saying perpetual motion is something that will ever be discovered, or if it is possible. But saying something is "impossible" because we would be wrong otherwise, puts us at the place of knowing everything. As far as we know, the second law of thermodynamics is right, but we've been proven wrong in the past, and probably will in the future.
Astronomers have determined that the shape of the satellite determines whether it is classified as a moon or not. In an astounding landslide at the latest meeting, it was declared that saucer shaped satellites are to be labeled actual moons, while the spherical satellites are now called pseudo-moons. This in a new spree of reclassifications by astronomers has confused many people.
Offtopic? Did you RTFA?
An even bigger hurdle for the project is cost-efficiency.
The Microsoft team predicts that by 2010, a 1-terabyte (1,000-gigabyte) hard drive will cost less than $300. I was just saying that the article isn't very up to date, with 1TB hard drives at less than $300. How is that offtopic? Would you explain?
Verizon is a CDMA network, whereas AT&T/Cingular is a GSM Network, the phones are incompatible with each other. The iPhone can only be unlocked on GSM networks. Here's an article that explaines the difference in the two types of networks: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-difference-between-gsm-and-cdma.htm
Actually, it's more like selling a car in Thailand that only runs on Thai fuel
What? There is no such thing in this scenario. Computers in Thailand don't run on anything different than American or Russian computers if they run 32bit Windows. AFAIK, there is no such thing as Thai fuel for cars either and if it were it wouldn't be cheaper to make a car run on Thai fuel because it would cost more because of the two production lines instead of a one. I really doubt he was really talking about "Thai only fuel" or the price of manufacturing that fuel. Try fuel that only works in Thailand. Valve released a game that only was licensed for use in Thailand, it wasn't released region free.
I remember looking a few weeks ago at the details of the EPG in Vista Media Center, and noticed that it said the EPG was powered by Zap2it. I'm sure that they will have some type of replacement, but it seems like everyone was dependent on Zap2it.
(I know, I know, I'm an evil person for using the abomination that is Vista, created by Satan himself in the form of Bill Gate$, who is trying to take over the world by adding DRM to everything and getting rid of all that is FOSS)
I have a cup that has 50 green M&Ms and 50 red M&Ms, and I add 10 green M&Ms and 5 red M&Ms, red M&Ms are now less then 50%, but that doesn't mean I lost red M&Ms.
Nero (with the latest update from their website) works with no problems. I've also not had any issues with DVD Shrink. What release of Vista did you try? I was using RC1 with no issues.
in my understanding, (and I know that someone will correct me if I'm wrong):P
the symbols for the parties were picked by the opposing party
the Republicans picked the donkey as the symbol to represent the Democrats and vice-versa
if nothing else, you could do what i did, just do a hotswap that automatically installs the exploit, there are a few different ones out there but the one i used was shademand's readymad xbox softmod...it worked great and was pretty easy once i figured it out

Shall we play a game?
Love to, how about Global Thermonuclear War?
Wouldn't you prefer a nice game of Chess?

Well that was fast, 1TB drives for less than $300. We can now welcome our new unforgetful overlords. $289.99 $279.99 $279.99
