I use linux everyday for the things i do and now i have to wonder if the fonts that come with open office 2.0 are actually legal or not. I assume since they come with OO.o that they are but what are the chances that they are not and have just been renamed to appear that they are ?.
I would not want to the OO.o guys to get in to trouble because one of thier guys thought "Eh what the heck no one will care, just a couple of fonts no big.". yeah i know chances are very slim but you never know.
i agree with you on that one, i would think Nintendo would offer these games free of charge to purchasers of the Revolution (i am not calling it the Wii !) as a bonus for buying the system or at least offer a subscription service of 19.99 a year or somthing like it.
actually back then they thought "640 KB" should be enough for anyone one" hence the reason base memory on computers then and now are still stuck in the stone age of 640 kb, but no matter XMS is cheap enough anyone can afford at least 1 GB of ram and most certainly 100 gb of HDD is resonable too.
i dunno, i think beta2 should not be an excuse to release a shitty version of windows. besides that the things they are talking about file transfers, permission levels ect are things that should be working now ! in beta 2 i mean it is not like M$ doe's not have experince in these areas.
so what part of it should be working don't you understand ?
I thought MS hired a person from outside the company to basicly re-write windows OS from scratch to fix the various problems in the original code base ?, if so then the wait should be worth it in the long run, if all the major issues are addressed then the OS will be better for the end user in the long run which is what any company should do, strive for the best solution to the customers needs, I wish MS the best of luck in getting Vista in to a Usable state for it's customers and hope they can make it work out.

Why the hell do we have all of these langauges with all the strange ass names ?, i mean really for years i have seen tons of them come and go and now the in thing seems to be cryptic scripting and byte code environments.
if all of these are to provide better lower level support of the machine then why not just get rid of them all together and program directly in ASM, that way you get better programmers becuase they will have to focus on Cycle counting and making sure they have a proper running program, leaving them less room for crappy programming ?.
yeah, i know that these are made to be faster and such but they seem to be more of a hinderance than a help.
