That is what the average computer user believes. Does the win 7 machine have on board video or a real add on card? I say real since I have seen a few of these PCIe DVI cards that are just a converter from VGA to a DVI card. The video processor is still the on board chip using system RAM.

Prove it, run a few benchmarks. Run a few of the gamer and business ones then report back. Those numbers might surprise you. Or they may surprise us. No way to tell until they are run.

Also, the vista recommended RAM was 1GB not 512MB. 512MB was min needed to run. Also in those recommended spec was a 128MB dedicated video card. I have added a good ($70-$100 cheaper now) video cards to a number of systems. Nothing else was done. The end user said the computer was faster. Also windows 7 != vista. Win 7 runs better on a computer that ran vista ok. It has on the 45 machines that I have installed it on at work anyway. I get the feeling your comparing XP to a 2006 vista system with built in graphics. When vista came out none of the on board/built in graphics chip sets could run it snappy. That is one of the major vista sucks it is slow arguments. And they were right. The built in graphics really did not have what vista needed to run correctly.

You're assuming that the individuals from certain races are actually unqualified, as opposed to not being hired because of racism. Equal opportunity means that you check for racism first, before trying grand social experiments because of an assumption that certain races are inferior.

I always thought if one was hiring based on skill set, the race, gender, religious belief, (all other non work related things) are not taken into consideration. Then you are truly treating all equal. Hiring based on the ability to do the job required. Checking for racism should never even be done at all. If you think you can do the job, get the training/education/skills to do the job. During the interview your skill set should be tested. Your race does not matter.

Forcing companies to hire people based on race and not the ability to actually do the job is a bad thing. This often leads to 'filling quotas' in workforces. Qualified people are passed over so that someone who fills the quota can be hired.

I an not so sure about the "cat people" but I could see some law being passed to stop certain conditions/illnesses from being passed on. Think of the following: AIDS and rheumatoid arthritis. Both are bad. Both are treatable but currently not curable. Now the adult with either of those decides that they want children. Then pass it on to their child. So now a child has AIDS or rheumatoid arthritis. Those (and others) are bad enough when adults have them. But a child suffering with it is worse. A 3-4 year old does not understand why they are in pain all the time. I know a 4 year old with rheumatoid arthritis. He has his good days but most days are not so good. His mother knew she could pass it on. The doctors said there was a 90+% chance (it was on the father's side as well) of the child having it. The first test for rheumatoid arthritis came back positive. The child was 2 months old.

If we could cure these things, or remove them from happening it would be a good thing. It is really cruel but some people should not have children. Their children will suffer their whole lives.

If this was true, then a lot more people will have accidents when their front break stop working.

For all of those cars that have front disk and read drum breaks, the front breaks do most of the stopping after a while. If you wear out the front breaks and do not get them replaced, the rear breaks are now stopping the car. If this was not the case people would be stopping by hitting something else or when kinetic energy ran out. If people actually got their breaks adjusted more often, both front and rear breaks would stop the car evenly.

Four wheel disk is better with the front and rear wearing but the front still do wear a bit faster from what I have seen.

If rear breaks do not stop the car why are they there? just to add cost to the purchase and repairs of the car? If you hit your breaks and the nose of your car dips down, you should have your breaks adjusted. The rear breaks are hitting less then your front breaks. That is why the nose of the car is dipping down.
