... and to see someone make a niche game that actually caters DnD players VS whatever the heck Turbine tried to do with it. The screwed up on a lot of things. No randomized dungeons. No turn based combat (yes, it has it's issues but DnD is turn based - figure out how to do it right or GTFO). Absolutely terrible grinding with almost no content at launch.
How do you take a niche market like MMOs, pick a setting that drills down your niche market even further, and then try to make it for anyone but these people?
Wave is set to pretty much assimilate the web. Just got done watching the demo at wave.google.com and I think I need to change my boxers.
I was wondering what this book was

Saw it on Penny Arcade and made a mental note to look into it. Then I saw it here and from the comments definitely looks like it's right up my alley. Funny what word of mouth has turned into in this day and age.
Tycho and Gabe don't talk during it. Picking a voice actor for the parts would really be impossible as everyone has different opinions as to how they should sound. It also adds another expense to the project. I don't mind the text based dialog, there isn't an excessive amount of reading required and most of the dialog is very funny (at least the first time through).
For fun, go click on all the crabs on the dock. Yes, they all have different descriptions.:)
You can run from a rogue? With slow poisons, deadly throw, blind, stuns, etc? My main is a frost mage and while from time to time I can get away generally a rogue on me is eventual death unless I have someone helping me out. Usually it's not even worth trying as I have to blow most of my cool downs to get away... and the rogue is still alive.
I agree with you and actually my resto druid just hit 64 last night.;) Mostly just because our Battle Group is severely lacking in healers while it seems like all alliance has on our side is healers and rogues.
All classes are imbalanced in certain situations or against certain classes. Resto spec druids are a good example, almost impossible to take down. Not a huge deal in most situations as they eventually run out of mana, run away, or 5+ people eventually mow them down but for WSG for instance, they make almost unstoppable flag runners. Rogues are another good example: cheat death (although recently nerfed), vanish, cloak of shadows, and stun/mace spec makes fighting most classes one on one or two on one a joke. Once again not a big deal until half the team is rogues and your team gets mowed down as they spawn.
WoW already has unbalanced classes or specs... why makes us think they are going to really care if the Death Knight is out of whack? Isn't that the whole idea as it's a "Hero" class?
That is very good advice, thank you. Credit card numbers, customers purchase records, addresses, telephone #, etc is all stored on our servers or registers in one way or another and I'm sure part (if not all) falls under some part of HIPPA. Thankfully we have moved to an entirely encrypted system already so that narrows down some of our risk... but this was not always the case. It amazes me how a company/programmer/management can think that storing someone's private information in a plain text file is an acceptable practice.
I happen to work in Indiana in IT for a retail store and my boss and I were just discussing how to avoid a "CNN event" just like this. Hopefully this article will be the tipping edge for the upper management to give us the time and resources to be able to properly secure our network... but somehow I doubt it.
... maybe this is just a buildup to a bigger mega-quake as some of the wonderful reporters on CNN were suggesting. I mean really though, what are the odds of that hap
Sorry for the late reply. Basically you need to ask for the next tier of support and only ask for a supervisor if they refuse to transfer you. Don't ask for it on your first call on the issue, it likely won't happen. Also asking for a supervisor at the start of the call is not typically the way to go, most that I worked with were incompetent. However the next tier of support (Tier 3 for my center, but it's called other things for other centers) are filled with people who not only usually know what they are talking about but also know the system. They can call the various levels of network support for you and schedule everything. Don't get mad if a technician doesn't show up or if the problem doesn't get resolved when the technician first comes out, just call back, get tier 3 again, and restart the process. Some will give you their direct number to call but we weren't allowed to do that in our center.
Why run it this way? They are monopolies and really don't give a shit. I was there for two years and for every customer we lost we gained at least 3, sometimes more, so why bother trying?
They already used the "In Soviet Russia..." joke. Now I'm going to have to come up with a car analogy or something...
See it's like someone is looking at you while you are driving down the road...
Yes, I was a manager at the fisher's center. I used to take negative escalations all the time for this. In short, we can't do anything for you besides schedule a tech between 8-5, M-F. Oh you can't take time off work? Guess we can never get it fixed then! Oh, you took time off work to be there but the technician didn't show? Better take another day! Ridiculous...
Try using it in a corporate environment. It's a nightmare to get the hardware independent image working right and let's not even get started on home brew apps.
I am currently facing this issue as well. I recently got promoted from my old position and I am out at training right now. I am getting emails every 5-10 minutes with questions since the status quo for the rest of my co-workers was not "Let's learn this" but "Let's ask him". If I could go back I would have written 10x the documentation that I did. As it stands the company will likely consolidate my new position with my old one because of this. While the raise is nice I don't really want to have both jobs.
The 58 Song Set List you get to play after you have enough stars from the other venues is brutal. "Timmy - Lord of the underworld" and "I get by" are just brutal on hard. Took my friends and I a dozen tries before we were finally able to get through them. Great game but that set list is not for the faint of heart.
I loved those books as a kid. I'm sure we would just get something like this.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot.
What program do you use, something provided by Verizon or something else? All the ones I have grabbed do not support my model of phone (LG ENV)
Mind posting that script? I'd be interested in checking it out.

Yeah, you missed that one.
Good movie, although a bit date today

Now is the perfect time to go back through on hard and play it using only plasmids and a wrench. :)

Yes, and for some odd reason I suddenly feel the urge to go out and buy something!
Shhh... talking about anything that could possibly involve linux support and valve can get you banned. ;)
