Everyone's rude in cinemas anyway. There's the screaming kids, the popcorn fights and the idiots muttering comments the whole time. Even the cinema itself tried to piss people off as much as possible. I went today and firstly they tried to take my food off me, I know this is standard practice but wtf, I want my food at a non extortionate price. Then they had the arrogance to show 20 minutes of adverts before the film. I paid for entertainment not to be messed around with that crap. I know both of these are pretty standard but if the place wants to continue to attract customers it should consider changing, especially as the competition doesn't have the annoyances.
I know I sound a little annoyed. The film was Shrek 3.
We'll point one could be a barrier but local promotion is a load of crap. There are only a few people that care about having actors and directors coming to their country to stroke their over inflated egos. As you can tell I am not one of them.
Dell (never got why people always disguise company names when posting on the internet) callcenter worker: Hello... How can I help? Me: I've got a monitor here where the bottom half of the screen has failed. It just shows grey. I've tried a different cable, different resolution and connecting it to a different computer. Dell callcenter worker: You have to press the button on the monitor to turn it on.
I sort of agree that the filesystem layout on linux tends can be difficult. However, package management on windows could be benefits. Reducing the number of updaters that run every time the system starts would definitely be a step forward.
I couldn't get an allocation unless I had enough customers to use a full (IPv6)/32, which of course I don't. We're just starting out, so they basically force the little guy to use IPv4, and then do a migration later.
Make up higher customer numbers then. It shouldn't be that difficult
As the article says, a far simpler solution to the badwidth issues of freeview would be to ditch the huge number of junk channels and use the bandwidth to provide a HD signal for the ones that people actually watch.
We could start by only having one channel that plays friends and scrubs all day, instead of three.
I've tried it, don't bother. Vista really needs a real (not vmware) graphics card to give anything that approximates performance. When I installed it in vmware I couldnt even get solitaire working at a decent speed.
It isn't as de-facto as it was a few years ago but I've found there's quite a few tunes (especially drum and bass stuff) that are difficult to get on anything else. I also seem to like the stuff I've bought on vinyl better, I often buy downloads and then decide I hate them after playing them twice.
At least indie people can order cds, dance music seems to still be stuck on vinyl. Not that I mind; all the Cd players I have access to are an absolute pain to mix on.
not only are advocating paying for stuff twice but you are suggesting paying some dodgy Russian site for it. WHY?? Seriously, if you really cant be bothered to rip stuff why don't you get a free download, you've already payed for the content.
You're education was better than mine, the most dangerous thing we got to play with was chlorine and half the curriculum was electrolosis (not idea how to spell that). Having said that I don't think teaching our class how to make explosives would have been a good idea, every lesson there was a massive water fight (people were actually considerate enough to not use the acids). I decided not to do the chemistry A-level so I cant tell you if its any better.
I think they said it was £17.99 but I havent checked.
A war?

I actually had this conversation once.

The install-reboot game is easy to get out of. Click no when it asks to reboot and carry on installing stuff, reboot when you've finished.
Have you tired gentoo? It's pretty much bare metal by default and needs slightly less messing with than linux from scratch.
I doubt this is true since the content is already being released on non-DRM media (ok it has CSS on there but that's been broken for years).

You should have published those letters
A dangerous madman

Don't you need a bs=512 in there? or is that the default?

LSD?
Why do they have to use only one format? It isn't that hard to provide downloads in different formats and let the user choose what they want.

A lot subtler than me. I just set off fireworks inside and let them burn.
So he's on the 35 year old end of that demographic then.

How am I supposed to comment this when theres no link to download it?
Hangover!
