Presumably because more can be cached into RAM, which would result in slightly longer loading times initially sure, but then in game less loading of textures and such needs to be done from the disk, so you have smoother gameplay? I don't have a PSP, so I can't comment on how much of an issue that is..
Sounds like more of the same (but faster) rather than 'new frontiers'.. how about we get sort out the current mess before giving the spammers more bandwidth to work with???!? Bah..
;) It wasn't really meant to be sarcasm btw, I just have a weird sense of humour is all - I'd actually already found that wikipedia page when finding out what WSAD really was:P
That would have fitted with the theme of popping mushrooms and jumping through fluffy clouds! Or are you forgetting U R MR GAY? I didn't even know whether to believe that one, but I picked up a copy of Super Mario Galaxy in store and the hidden message really is there.
Also, if you have a cup of coffee and transport through the transporter do you lose all your caffeine? Replicators are meant to just be transporter technology that assembles food from basics held somewhere in the ship. Or at least that's what I read a few years ago, I'm not really a trekky any longer *hides*
It's the preferred keyboard layout of first person shooters, ever since Quake (or in my case, Half-Life). I use it because I can have other keys around my fingers to easily access buttons for reloading, using items (such as doors and health stations), jumping and ducking (easily done at the same time when the duck and jump keys are located conveniently under my thumb and pinkie), running, switching weapons, and even checking my score (usually only in multiplayter). You should try it instead of those stupid arrow keys..
Yep my new IT underling ordered a laptop that doesn't have an XP option while I was off sick, and I bet it's one of the ones that wont have XP drivers (he's justified it since then by saying we can use it as a test of how well Vista is going to integrate into our network, and that we can install XP on it if it sucks).. I like the guy and don't want to fire him or anything, but if other people start asking for Vista because of this then I may just quit:p I have been really happy with how much Vista is failing, it's hopefully going to open people's eyes up to other choices out there, and demonstrate clearly that newer doesn't always mean better.
And exactly what "preventive" (guess you mean preventative) measures are you going to take? How are you going to decide who is 'fundamentalist'. Private companies probably do directly cause the death of hundreds of people each year anyway, if you believe that some people will do anything for money/power - and some people would. It doesn't always come down to fundamentalist muslims, history has shown that you always get religious or political groups that are willing to take life to get themselves noticed, or to further their own cause, whatever it may be. America have always been far from the line of fire in geographical terms, at least when considering european and middle eastern factions, but as soon as you are subject to one external terrorist attack (well there have been others, but mostly they have been from internal troublemakers) you go out and start fucking up as many muslims as you can. If all countries reacted like that then we'd be having world wars constantly..
And the saddest thing of all is that that attack was done with nothing more than plastic knives or somesuch.. and you guys are still acting like you need a nuclear reactor to do serious damage. You don't, you just need to look for ways of using conventional things in unconventional ways. You're all obsessed with guns and nukes, and you got fucked over by a bunch of guys with plastic knives.. okay that's my rant over for today. Get some perspective people -.-
Out of those I've only bought SPM and Mario Strikers, but Mario Strikers just seemed very poorly constructed. The menus took an age to load and I got the impression that someone just took a crappy game then came along and put Nintendo characters in it, maybe I'm wrong though. No doubt it would be fun to play on multiplayer, but I dont know if that will ever happen, my friends would be more likely to want to play the sports (and I wouldnt disagree)
It's hardly even 'wrong' if someone sets up their network openly. In fact I'd say if there is blame anywhere these days it's on the part of the person making their network open - somehow Windows decided to piggyback onto one of my neighbour's newly setup and unsecured wifi network. My internet access was really slow so I decided to reconnect the router, went to my bookmark for checking the internet connection status, wondered why the admin password had been reset to 'password', then realised that I was actually not connected to my own router.. *sigh*
Probably because you can't spell "quarter". And we all know that if you can't spell, you're a troll.

Pedants.
There has to be some irony in there somewhere.
http://www.rapestop.net/ got to wonder the type of person that would leave one of those in all the time

Plus there were probably 1000 xtracto's just waiting for him/her to head to the urinals.
Yes, perhaps I was a little too deadpan. I had hoped that the laboured nature of my description was enough of a giveaway..
Maybe you should do some research into common human (and slashdotter, which tends to fall loosely into the 'human' set) behaviours.
*Whoooosh*

Wow and I thought it was the OP who was a retard, turns out I still have a lot to learn about those damn English people and their language..
It started off as Pearl

Yep, not so much spam as mafia tactics. If you dont pay up, we send round the boys. The advertising boys.
Whereas Windows asks (or used to), "Where do YOU want to go today?". Evil tidings are afoot.
Yeah, I can just imagine the robots trying to get the cockroaches to smoke - "come on.. all the cool roaches are doing it.."

You can defeat the encryption, but you have to do it a bit at a time - just takes you a couple of years.
Not the "treatment"?!!!? :o Hopefully thats a sauna, then a government security job offer with a company Volvo?
