In the end, you also die, which means all your self-improvement was for naught. RTFC (Read the Freakin Comment). Geeze. If you even bothered to read it. You would also see I was talking about legacy too. Dude, read the comments before posting.
Every member of the Human Race should aspire to better themselves. Because in the end, you loose it all.
That's general and broad enough to contradict itself. Good job!
Wrong. Not contradicting. Bettering yourself doesn't involve material goods. It means improving yourself. In the end, you loose the money, house, car, hdtv, linux, and every other material goods.
Are you kidding me? You expect these people, who are the low-paid, bottom-of-the-IT-food-chain to have ethics? Why are they any different from a parking lot attendant or car wash guy? Because they're techies? Don't kid yourself.
All persons should aspire to live their lives ethically. Rather than have those who do be the exception, it ought to be that those that don't are the exception. I agree with what you said but I would like to make more general and broad term.
Every member of the Human Race should aspire to better themselves. Because in the end, you loose it all.
What do you want your legacy to be, a Brutal Dictator or the next great Nobel Prize winner? How much can you contribute to humanity before you die?
What is so stupid about this sleezy tactic is that there is no guarantee that any videos on a person's hard drive is illegal.
1. The Movie COULD BE converted using commercial off the self software. Divx Pro can do it along with many others. Just walk into your nearest computer store. 2. TV Episodes can be recorded via any TV tuner card. Such as WinTV cards.
The presence of movies and tv episodes on the hard drive doesn't make it illegal.
...but does it run Linux? Oh yes. That joke makes it allot more funny this time around. After all It's Microsoft PCs we are talking about. So Will Microsoft's own PCs run a competing Operating System like Linux?
They have made a fatal mistake. They could have made money from it and kept the free use. By using basic XML feed with text based ads embedded in the individual listings. With the growing number of HTPCs, That could have brought revenue to zap2it. When you change the channel, you often get description of the show/movie. The ad would also show up as well. And Zap2It could have used Licensing to ensure unaltered feeds.
On other hand, Google could do it and bring adsense to the TV.
The problem with their numbers is they assume for every illegal download equal 1 lost sale. It is an assumption that is false. Let's take for example, Adobe Photoshop. It's probably one of the most pirated software. Does everyone that downloaded it illegally can afford to pay $600 to buy it? I've asked people and the answer is No from the majority of people I've asked. (I really did ask) Best way to combat piracy is by MSRP price reduction. It would be the first step.
Don't they realize RAM is cleared when computer is shutdown? It won't hold any information. Besides, Torrentspy isn't a tracker. And Torrentspy can change the way they do things to ensure privacy and keep people coming. They can use Google to search tracker websites.
I know why Microsoft...err Windows does not have a cult. It is because there is no community. No group of people where everyone knows your name and who you are. Everyone's PCs are too different. And too many people use Windows. It is the STANDARD OS for computers right now.
For a low low price of $420, a Linux user can run Windows Vista on their Linux distribution.
If I could an OS, I would build custom Linux OS that exclusively runs VMware. Kinda like Windows 98 and Dos. The computer would boot with Linux OS like older pcs booted DOS first, then go straight to Vmware so the entire computer is virtualized. And the Linux OS is designed to only allow vmware to access the internet.
I never played Master of Orion 2 but I have played Master of Orion 3. And it is my number 1 favorite game. If I could have just 1 game, It would be MoO3 with the Moo3Patcher utility. MoO3 can kill hours and hours of time.
This could mean that Wii won't be like Gamecube in terms of game selection. Publishers know that Wii has hundreds of thousands users and probably continue to sell out. This equals profit to them and will bring dozens of games to the Wii. Sony's PS3 will take third seat like Gamecube did unless Sony does something drastic to compete in price with Wii. Question remains, Who will dominate, the 360 or Wii? Only time will tell. FoxNews reports on this story.
Could you give me a Hand here?
I hope that wasn't directed at me. I already know TPB doesn't provide people illegal content. They just give out harmless torrents. No more, No less.
There is a fine line in being neutral. How many times does Sweden have to cross it before they realize they aren't being neutral on the WAR on piracy?

Cult's start small and grow large.
They should launched Doohan and Cooper into deep space. They deserve better then to be shoved back to this stinkin planet.
I've got a better name.
Disabled Consumer Entertainment or D.C.E.
And the manufacturer has. You should find yourself a good wholesaler. They drop their prices more in sync with manufacturers then retail stores.
I KNOW they would.
Retail Stores don't set prices. They often go by the price the manufacturer sets. What would bring prices down is reduced taxes on corporations.
With a lifetime of experience under your belt, Starting your own business would be good idea. Be your own boss.

Thank God MoO3 works fully with WINE.
Now Linux users can finally say, "Dude, You're getting a Dell"
Maybe it's time for standardized components for laptops like cases and motherboards. The market is now here to allow people to build their own.
Desktop market is not dead. They are still wanted for hardcore gamer rigs, HTPC, and budget computers.
if this is true, it would be good news for the developers of W.I.N.E. It'll make it slightly easier to run Windows games on Linux.
It looks like Boston mayor should work along side the Chinese ruling party. He would fit in with their Censorship policy over there.
You know something is wrong with your city when it follows the lead of a communist nation.
