I have a crazy idea for you. Install it, and don't change your habits. It is fine to turn a computer using BOINC off at night. Most applications checkpoint every 5 minutes or so, which means you might lose 5 minutes of work by turning it off. Hardly anything to be upset about.
Is there another reason you think you need to leave your PCs running BOINC on?
IE will crash? And Firefox won't, but quicktime will?
I think that's what I would prefer. It's not Firefox's responsibility to secure all external programs on the computer. Even if they do have plug-ins in Firefox.
These processors are odd...
1 0.00 %
Unspecified 1 0.00 %
CentaurHauls 5 0.00 %
GenuineBMCpu 1 0.00 %
Also, is there any way to tell the number of WINE users from this survey?
I still receive PC Gamer even though for the last 6+ months they have been saying that this is the last issue I'm going to get. In fact, last month I received two copies.
I personally got fed up with how into Vista they are. No less than 4 months had an article on helping people Install Vista. They also kept saying nothing but positive things about it. How you needed to go to Vista to play the latest games, etc.
I run Ubuntu. I'm going to be buying a new computer to play 2 games Enemy Territory Quake Wars and Unreal Tournament 3. Neither of which needs Vista or PC Gamer for that matter. I have seen there articles decline sharply in quality in the last few months.
Did you watch the episode where he clearly differentiated between himself as the host and the candidate. He even drew a line in the middle of the screen:).
He will not cross said line.
Yay!
*Assuming Open means actually open and not just called "open". As well as assuming many other things.
Furthermore this means if everyone else (Novell, WordPerfect) were to drop MS OOXML support California would have to not choose MS's OOXML. (the multiple vendor clause).
My parents currently use it. I've been trying to get them to gmail for various reasons. (being able to easily switch from it, being one). However, I haven't found a way to set up forwarding or any other functions that would make this easier. Anybody have any magic bullets, I don't think they are going to switch without one or two.
I already managed to transfer contacts, but that's it.
Wait just a second... I thought the whole point was that we would NOT know until we open the box. And if we did we could be changing it's state possibly invalidating the experiment.
DEAD or ALIVE, neither. Inclusive?!

The Presentation in the video appears completely blank to me. Anybody else see this?

You don't think America is that stupid...
Never mind. Doesn't Bush have 6 years and 1 day yet? Your only allowed to be President for 10 years.

I don't like the idea of anyone sticking tubes in my head. Imagine if they overflowed!
Yup. http://www.reactos.org/en/index.html
...but this is not enough! Please MS step it up!
Does it run (on) Linux yet?
"need to specify that the standard must have an open-source reference implementation"
and that's where Novell comes in, adding MS's stuff to OpenOffice.org.

It said message board operators are not liable. They could still sue individual users on the site.
And you didn't correct it for the masses...

But can they still ask another country to do it for them?
Microsoft's is to run Vista. While Google's is to save the world.

This is so great, innovative, and quite amazing, it solves a common problem of not understanding the sarcastic tone of say... a post!
If I recall correctly, it started out being only on Linux and then was ported to the other two.
Do not support Yahoo, in their war against peanut butter. This is exactly what Google is trying to prevent with their "Do No Evil" Clause.
Then what is the article? -1?
