The messianic nutjob leading Iran won't back down, he's a True Believer!

Unfortunately it's even worse than that:

The most remarkable aspect of Mr Ahmadinejad's piety is his devotion to the Hidden Imam, the Messiah-like figure of Shia Islam, and the president's belief that his government must prepare the country for his return.

    [...]

He is said to have gone into "occlusion" in the ninth century, at the age of five. His return will be preceded by cosmic chaos, war and bloodshed. After a cataclysmic confrontation with evil and darkness, the Mahdi will lead the world to an era of universal peace.

This is similar to the Christian vision of the Apocalypse. Indeed, the Hidden Imam is expected to return in the company of Jesus.

That's beacuse the Koran is the word of God, whereas the Bible comes through intermediaries. The result is that Christians can reinterpret all the horrible stuff in the Bible but the Muslims can't - brave Muslims are supposed to kill infidels. :(

The ending saw the player (a little green monster) climp out of a manhole on to a busy street, and as he's jumping for joy he gets run over by a truck.

    Classic.

SACEM add: "You shall stop publishing free software," and warn they are ready "to sue free software authors who will keep on publishing source code" should the "VU/SACEM/BSA/FA Contents Department"[1] bill proposal pass in the Parliament.
