If you have 4GB RAM, being able to address more than 3GB RAM is completely useless to you. Because Windows Vista 64bit run a 32bit virtual machine that uses 1GB of RAM, so you could still run your 32bit programs on a 64bit OS. Basically you are still only able to use 3GB of your RAM. Though if you upgrade to 6GB of RAM, then 64bit will be useful.

There are two different types of retailers, the online retailers (amazon, newegg etc..) and the physical store retailers (bestbuy, walmart etc..).

The physical store retailers gets hit with sales tax regardless if they sell the item online or in store, because they have physical presence in all states, they have to collect sales tax on all sales. They absolutely hate the online retailers because they cannot compete with them if everything they sell have a 6-9% markup due to sales tax.

I think all states should just do away with stupid sales tax, there are several states that doesn't have a state sales tax and they did just fine. The government will always spend as much as you give them, if you don't give them too much, then they won't spend so much.
