There's a drink on the market called Function : Urban Detox. It has N-acetylcysteine in it, and claims that drinking it will help prevent/remove a hangover.
Didn't think it might have an effect on APAP digestion, but after seeing that, it looks like it could help.
Going from XP to 7 Beta1 (and now RC), am I the only one who feels that the improved performance issues of Windows 7 may actually work? I installed a copy of the RC on my laptop, and it worked beyond what I expected. The Laptop was "powerful" enough for Vista, and it couldn't even compare to the performance my laptop was giving me currently. I installed the Beta on my desktop, and only had one issue that isn't worth the words to complain about. I know Vista may have been a flop to some people, but this just seems like a repeat of about 8-10 years ago. When ME came out, users found it abyssmal. But the solution seemed to be to go from 98SE to XP, and everyone was content.
This just seems like repeated history to me, as everyone jumps the XP ship for 7, because Vista is still taking water.
P.S. It's rather late here, apologies in advance. I'm probably rambling by now.
My uncle uses a Sony reader for the same thing, except he runs a small car repair shop, and uses it for all the repair manuals he's bought over the 2 decades he had been doing it.
Aside from HD Blu-ray discs and the like, would it somehow try to scale down a video file that was encoded at the same resolution as 720P/etc?
And as for Audio DRM, seems like a swift kick to the user's pants. I read that it was going to be "added", but was hoping it'd be in the final, not a RC.
Only responding because, after seeing my comment get moderated, I RTFA and realized Tranquility was in the set of the Top 10 custom additions or whatever.
Maybe I'm one of the few (if any) who doesn't mind my name, info, and habits are saved, but I just don't want to see my photos be used for something.
On a different note, reminds me of MySpace when I had my age set at 150 for some mild chuckles, and they mailed me saying to "correct" it or else they would cancel my account. Seems like that messed up their marketing trends.
Exactly my first thought. It'd be interesting if the Russian government actually releases the source on government-created programs or modifications done to the original system.
Also, most GPS units use some form of CE, but afaik it's all old versions that're pretty cut up to only do the basics. So I really doubt the driver issue would apply to them either.
First, thanks for explaining the EXE packer use, I wasn't sure what legit uses there were for it.
From my experience, Avira hasn't flagged any packed EXEs unless there was an actual virus header in the file. Is there anyone with Avira who can prove me right or wrong?
I am not a networking master, but wouldn't UDP be a better choice to avoid the TCP syn/ack packets? As many connections as a P2P program makes, changing from TCP to UDP would help alleviate some stress on routers worldwide. Although in this case, more unreliable, hash checks and pieces would help prevent corruption amongst files.
Also have the 120hz option, and found that using it with motion effects (frameskip, as far as I know) created really odd 'skips' in performance, though in certain situations it did look great.
Our family just recently switched up from basic basic cable (75 channels, no box) to Digital Cable with HD access, and we ended up spending maybe 20$ more. (Also have Time Warner)
What about SomaFM? How will this affect their royalty issues?
(Oh, if only I had mod points...)

I remember that when SLI was new.
People would buy two mid range cards and it had enough kick to run everything for a few years at a decent rate.

Frozen Bubble was the first thing I played after installing Mandrake 9.2.
And honestly, for the longest while, accounted for half of my time on my linux partition.
Good times.
Colbert cannot be stopped...EVER!
Minus the run for the presidential seat.

Ignorance it is!
If they do pick Serenity, would the possible next one be Tranquility?
Or is that already in use, and I'm just ignorant?

"Just jiggle it!"
*ducks*
yes, now you can download that new hardware upgrade you've always wanted..
so that's how I download more RAM...
They could make some use of the Campaign Editor to create maps for specific examples, whether it be theory or history based.
Also, would be interesting to see the course material leak online, since plenty of people can go along with examples.
It actually looks and feels more Linux a Linux KDE system.
Freudian slip or subliminal propaganda?

Is your refridgerator running linux?

I know you're joking, but sadly, I could picture it happening.

Why do I find it funny that this just makes the anti-matter laser in Rocky Horror Picture Show somewhat... feasible?
Rediculous.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE THESE ON AN AIRPLANE!
That's honestly the only warning needed for Tannerite.
